He was born in Colombia . He graduated in Architecture from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín in 1993 .

Trajectory

He has a Master in Aesthetics from the National University of Colombia , Medellín , 2004 , Master in Theory and Practice of the Architecture Project, Higher Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona , ​​UPC, 2008 , Doctor in Architectural Projects, mention summa cum laude, ETSAB-UPC , Barcelona, ​​2016 and fellow of the Alßan scholarship program of the European Union for Latin America , 2006-2009.

Associate professor at the National University of Colombia, Medellin Campus since 1997 in the area of ​​Projects and in the Master’s Degree in Architecture , of which he was academic coordinator, 2011 – 2012 . Researcher of the Group of Studies in Architecture and Urban Planning. He has participated in national and international exhibitions.

Publications

Author of the books Civic Architecture for the Tropics , 2004 and From Fire to the Wind , 2008; co-author of the books The architectural project as transformation , 2015 and Exemplary Architectures in Medellín: on project and analysis , 2017. Editor of the book Theories, methods and devices in the project , 2013.
