biographical synthesis

He was born in Soacha, near Bogotá , Colombia on February 2 , 1924 . Later his family moved to Santiago de Chile , where he spent his adolescence while he was in high school.

Trajectory

He studied architecture at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and at the National University of Colombia , in Bogotá , where he graduated in 1948 in the second generation of architects trained by the school, along with Fernando Martínez, Rogelio Salmona , Germán Samper, Francisco Pizano, Dicken Castro and Enrique Triana.

After graduating, he worked for the Colombian Ministry of Public Works. Later he formed the firm DOMUS together with Hernan Vieco and Francisco Pizano.

His work stands out for the quality of his homes , both houses and buildings.

Death

He died on May 31 , 1995 in Bogotá .
