He was born in Chocó , Colombia .

Trajectory

Architect from the Universidad Nacional Bogotá and researcher at the same university in the lines of Humanities, Art and Architecture and Urbanism. She is a collaborator and wife of urban planner Jacques Aprile. She has dedicated her academic life to producing new knowledge about the ways of living and building that are practiced by popular urban and rural communities in Colombia . Her texts, published as books , articles and booklets, or reproduced in digital files, are an important reference for undergraduate and graduate students of Architecture and other professions.

She was awarded at the Colombian Architecture Biennial in 2004 in the category of Theory and History of Architecture.
