God of War: Ragnarök guide – where to find all artifacts

We tell you how to find all the artifacts in the game and get the Antiquary achievement

There are several varieties of collectibles in God of War: Ragnarök, and artifacts are one of them. They are divided into certain sets, and in accordance with this classification they will be divided into separate sections in our guide. But if you collect all 38 artifacts, you can unlock the Antiquary achievement. Let’s figure out how to find them.

It is noteworthy that all the artifacts that you find in the game are hidden only in four worlds – Svartalfheim, Vanaheim, Alfheim and Midgard. And the details of many sets are found in only one world: “Abandoned Things” – in Svartalfheim, “Offerings to Freyr” and “Family Emblems” – in Vanaheim, “Stolen Treasures” – in Midgard. But the “Poems of Kvasir” are scattered across all four worlds.

How to find the “Abandoned Things” set

  1. Svartalfheim, Marshes of Aurvanga. Armlet of Hreidmar (1/6). We swim to the indicated place until we run into a water wheel blocking the path further. We moor to the shore and find two geysers. Both need to be frozen. Be sure to climb the mountain on the right side to find a corpse with this artifact.
  2. Svartalfheim, Nidavellir. Firebomb Grape (2/6). We pass inside the mine, located on the left side of the blacksmith shop of Sindri and Brock. After entering, we leave to the left side and look for another mine. We move deep into it and at the very end we find another artifact. He will lie on the ground.
  3. Svartalfheim, Forge. If you left the Forge and went further along the storyline, you can return to this location at any time using the trolley at the mystical gate “Coast of Nidavellir”. Bari grenade (3/6). After leaving the trolley, we go down the wooden blind area and see a small ledge ahead. We climb onto it and go around the box, behind which lies another artifact.
  4. Svartalfheim, Jarnsmead Mines. To return to the Yarnsmead Mines location after the storyline, you will have to teleport to the Core. We move to the mystical gates of the “Aurvang Swamp” and board the ferry leading to the Sands of Sverd. In this place there is an elevator that will take us straight to the Core. Following this route, we move back. We went here according to the plot, and we go the same way, but in the opposite direction, until we find ourselves in the mines of Yarnsmida. Sharpener Lofnheid (4/6). Having got to the desired location, according to the plot or after (according to the plot, we will get here after a trip on the second trolley), we move down and find water. We go down to the water, using the chain, and look for another artifact in this place.
  5. Svartalfheim, Core. To re-enter the Core, we move to the mystical gates of the “Aurvanga Swamp” and board the ferry leading to the Sands of Sverd. In this place there is an elevator that will take us straight to the Core. Statuette of Altjof (5/6). In a room with a puzzle connected to the lift, we are looking for a passage that is blocked by a lot of debris. We throw the ax at the red burning jug, which will explode, clearing the way further. We move on, open a huge door and climb to the ledge on the left side. There lies the artifact.
  6. Svartalfheim, Core. To re-enter the Core, we move to the mystical gates of the “Aurvanga Swamp” and board the ferry leading to the Sands of Sverd. In this place there is an elevator that will take us straight to the Core. Stone statue of Darin (6/6). When we find the first relic according to the plot of the game, we do not rush to go down the rope, but instead, when we move past the large door leading to the draugr pit, we cling to the ceiling with a hook and move to the other side. The hook point is near the waterfall. We ask Atreus to shoot at the accumulation of trash in the corner, and we select the last artifact from the set.

How to find the Poems of Kvasir set

  1. Svartalfheim, Marshes of Aurvanga. Dawn window (1/14). When we get to the pier at the end of the level, we pull two chains that open the gate. Next to the second chain is a table on which lies the first poem.
  2. Svartalfheim, Nidavellir. Large society of the sphere, spectacle (2/14). When we get to Nidavellir, the city of dwarves, we continue the story until Sindri hands Atreus sound (green) arrows. We return to the pier and blow up a bunch of trash on the left side of the pier to find a red chest. Next to it lies the second poem of Kvasir.
  3. Svartalfheim, Lyngbackr Island. In order for Lyngbakra’s Isle to spawn, you’ll need to complete the “Heavy Chains” side quest related to Mimir. After that, we sail to the island from the south side and find the pier. This place is located next to a large geyser. We go through a side task to completely raise the island. Only then can we find Kvasir’s poem. One of the remaining, part two (3/14). When we break the chain from the first fin of Lungbackr, we climb up the chain. On the left side, you can climb a high wall that leads to the top. We move there and at the very end we find a red chest with the third poem of Kvasir.
  4. Svartalfheim, Jarnsmead Mines. To return to the Yarnsmead Mines location after the storyline, you will have to teleport to the Core. We move to the mystical gates of the “Aurvang Swamp” and board the ferry leading to the Sands of Sverd. In this place there is an elevator that will take us straight to the Core. Following this route, we move back. We went here according to the plot, and we go the same way, but in the opposite direction, until we find ourselves in the mines of Yarnsmida. Tool and clang (4/14). We can find this poem at the end of the location. If we move along the plot, then at the right time, Sindri will give Kratos a lantern (turns on automatically). On the right side of the passage into the shaft connected to the Core, there is a place for blades. Use them and turn the water chute. Thanks to this, we will have a huge stone block in front of us. We climb onto it and freeze the water flow so that the block moves back with us. Thanks to this, we will be on the other side and will be able to pick up another poem by Kvasir.
  5. Svartalfheim, Core. To re-enter the Core, we move to the mystical gates of the “Aurvanga Swamp” and board the ferry leading to the Sands of Sverd. In this place there is an elevator that will take us straight to the Core. Bloodied (5/14). In any case, you won’t be able to get this poem the first time you visit the location. You need the spear Draupnir, which you will receive after completing the story mission “Forge of Your Destiny”. Near the mystical gates of the “Marsh of Aurvanga”, we board the ferry and sail on it to the Sands of Sverd. There we find an elevator, on which we get to the Core. We move forward until we find another mystical gate. There is a rope near this gate. We get down on it down and follow through the tunnel ahead. At the very end, we throw a spear into the hole to climb up. We destroy a rock with a yellow spot by throwing a spear at it,
  6. Alfheim, Strand. Large society of the sphere, spectacle (6/14). We move to the mystical gates and follow forward until we find ourselves near a cave with purple stones. After leaving the cave, jump down from the ledge on the left side and pick up Kvasir’s poem.
  7. Alfheim, Temple of Light. To re-enter the Temple of Light after the story, you need to move to the mystical Strand Gate and follow the same path that you went through in the game’s story. Visions after rest (7/14). When we jump over the first abyss, using the hanging crystals, we move up the spiral staircase. At the top of the stairs there will be a room containing a huge purple crystal. We need to climb onto the balcony on the right hand to find the right angle for throwing an ax and unlock the path further. In the same place we find the poem of Kvasir.
  8. Alfheim, Temple of Light. To re-enter the Temple of Light after the story, you need to move to the mystical Strand Gate and follow the same path that you went through in the game’s story. Spirits in the walls (8/14). We continue to move along the storyline until we find ourselves in a place where Kratos must turn the gear to lower the crystal and open the way further. Having done this, we turn into a niche on the left side and select another artifact.
  9. Alfheim, Plains. After completing the Secret of Groa story mission on the territory of the world of Alfheim, a huge hole will appear on the right side of the Strand mystical gate leading to the Canyons. Having overcome the Canyons, we will find ourselves on the huge Plains, where the side task “The Secret of the Sands” will automatically start. Before exploring the Plains, I strongly recommend that you go through this request: go down to the Dungeon and complete all the objectives to get rid of the sandstorm in the Plains territory. Heavenly construction (9/14). We move to the right side of this place (on the map) and find a hefty skeleton of some creature. We climb inside it and look for the legendary chest, near which the artifact is lying.
  10. Alfheim, Forbidden Sands. In order to unlock this territory, you must complete the side quest (request) “Song of the Sands” at the Burrows location. Celestial construction (10/14). In the eastern part of this region is a low tower. We go inside it and select the artifact.
  11. Vanaheim, Southern Wastes. About striving for unknown places (11/14). As soon as we get to the place where the first exploding plants will appear, we are looking for a hole in the ground that can be punched. Climb up and jump to this place. Having punched a hole, we can get to this artifact.
  12. Vanaheim, Jungle. After completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission, the “Smell of Survival” side quest will automatically start. We carry it out to get to a new territory in Vanaheim. The Jungle Path is located in the south of the Plains. You must change day to night to clear a path deep into the location. Organization: in the future (12/14). The artifact is located in the depths of the cave, which we will definitely visit when moving deep into the Jungle. The artifact is lying right on the ground, highlighted, so it is unlikely to miss it.
  13. Vanaheim, Wells. To get to this location, you need to repair the dam in the Jungle on the side task “Return of the River”. In the east of the Plains there is a huge arch through which you can get to the descent. We follow down the cable and find ourselves in the Wells. Ghost of the East (13/14). We go through the additional task “The Trembling Gorge” and destroy Skalozub. On the same arena, we destroy the red thorns located in the far corner and move through the opening. We follow forward until we can pick up the highlighted artifact. Again, it’s hard not to notice.
  14. Midgard, Rowers. In the center of the location is the Temple of Tyr. We move from it to the northeast and find wooden fragments. We move along them and get to the secondary location “Shores of Nine”. We crawl under a huge stone and look ahead for the fragments of the statue. On the right side of the wreckage are thorns that must be destroyed in order to gain access to the “Rowers” territory. We must get here by the side quest “Curse of Sigrun”, which is issued automatically after moving to this place. The dead don’t ride (14/14). We go down, where the norn chest is located, and climb the wall behind the chest. Kvasir’s last poem is lying near the red chest.

How to find the Offerings to Freyr Pack

  1. Alfheim, Strand. Dream Ward (1/6). We move through the location until the first battle against the light elves begins. When Kratos raises a large boulder, on the right side we will see a chest of norns. An artifact is lying on the ground near him.
  2. Alfheim, Plains. After completing the Secret of Groa story mission on the territory of the world of Alfheim, a huge hole will appear on the right side of the Strand mystical gate leading to the Canyons. Having overcome the Canyons, we will find ourselves on the huge Plains, where the side task “The Secret of the Sands” will automatically start. Before exploring the Plains, I strongly recommend that you go through this request: go down to the Dungeon and complete all the objectives to get rid of the sandstorm in the Plains territory. Horn (2/6). There is a tower in the northern part of the location. We pass inside it and select the artifact.
  3. Alfheim, Plains. After completing the Secret of Groa story mission on the territory of the world of Alfheim, a huge hole will appear on the right side of the Strand mystical gate leading to the Canyons. Having overcome the Canyons, we will find ourselves on the huge Plains, where the side task “The Secret of the Sands” will automatically start. Before exploring the Plains, I strongly recommend that you go through this request: go down to the Dungeon and complete all the objectives to get rid of the sandstorm in the Plains territory. Harp (3/6). In the southern part of the region there is a wall with a large hole through which you can get inside the room where another artifact is lying around.
  4. Alfheim, Nora. After completing the “Payback” story mission in Vanaheim, we will have a new ability that allows us to open a path to the Forbidden Sands, located northwest of the Plains. When visiting Freyr’s camp, you can get the side quest “Sanctuary of the Elves”. In this case, the marker will lead us to the right place. Once at the location, we will automatically start the request “Song of the Sands”. Before exploring the Forbidden Sands, we strongly recommend that you follow the marker and get to the Burrows. We fulfill all the objectives of the mission, and a sandstorm will end in this region. Tube (4/6). After we remove the shackles from the hafgufi, we are looking for an artifact on the left side of the legendary chest.
  5. Alfheim, Forbidden Sands. After completing the “Payback” story mission in Vanaheim, we will have a new ability that allows us to open a path to the Forbidden Sands, located northwest of the Plains. When visiting Freyr’s camp, you can get the side quest “Sanctuary of the Elves”. In this case, the marker will lead us to the right place. Once at the location, we will automatically start the request “Song of the Sands”. Before exploring the Forbidden Sands, we strongly recommend that you follow the marker and get to the Burrows. We fulfill all the objectives of the mission, and a sandstorm will end in this region. Bracelet (5/6). In the northeast of this region is the Sanctuary of the Elves. You will need to get here on the task of the same name, which is taken at a certain point in the storyline in Vanaheim. The artifact is lying near the entrance, to the right of the gate.
  6. Alfheim, Forbidden Sands. After completing the “Payback” story mission in Vanaheim, we will have a new ability that allows us to open a path to the Forbidden Sands, located northwest of the Plains. When visiting Freyr’s camp, you can get the side quest “Sanctuary of the Elves”. In this case, the marker will lead us to the right place. Once at the location, we will automatically start the request “Song of the Sands”. Before exploring the Forbidden Sands, we strongly recommend that you follow the marker and get to the Burrows. We fulfill all the objectives of the mission, and a sandstorm will end in this region. Token (6/6). On the left side of the Yggdrasil rift, you can find the last artifact from the set. If you suddenly did not find this place, move to the “question mark” shown on the map.

How to find the Family Emblems Pack

  1. Vanaheim, Frey’s Camp. Emblem of Skirnir (1/6). To find this artifact, we carry out the main mission and find the mystical gates located southwest of Frey’s camp. The artifact lies next to them.
  2. Vanaheim, Noatun’s Garden. You can get to this territory of the world by boat, having previously completed the “Payback” story mission. Emblem of Henir (2/6). The artifact is located in the far right corner of the territory, lies in the grass behind the building. Look for this place near the lift that allows you to climb onto the roof.
  3. Vanaheim, Hidden Passage. Another location where you cannot go the first time. Once you’ve completed the “Payback” story mission, you’ll have to use a boat to leave Vanaheim. Swim forward with Freyra, unlock the path further after the new mystical gate. On the left side, you will find Brok and Lunda’s shop, and on the right side, the “Ruins on the Rock” bank. We are talking about the mystical gates of the “River Delta”. Under the rock is the ghost of a girl who has a request for you “Conscience of the Dead”. Take this quest, because it will lead you to the Hidden Passage (using the marker). To swim further, go upstairs and jump onto the pillars in the center. Destroy the thorns to free the chain hanging from the high cliff. It is located to the left of the norn chest. Climb up this chain and use the cutter to free the passage along the river delta. Return to the boat and swim towards the marker. Emblem of Kvasir (3/6). We sail along the marker of the task “The Conscience of the Dead” and at the end of the cave we moor to the pier. We go up and follow deep into the cave until we find a spitting flower. Directly below it is a wooden fence. By breaking it, we can get an artifact.
  4. Vanaheim, Shrine of the Vanir. This location can be reached by boat after completing the “Payback” story mission. Here you will need to fulfill the request “Freya’s Concern”. The gate through which you will enter the Sanctuary of the Vanir is located on the territory of the “Waterfall of the Goddess”. Hülly emblem (4/6). After going inside the sanctuary, lower the bridge on the right side and climb higher. The corridor that leads to the iron gate also has a wooden fence. We break it and take away the artifact.
  5. Vanaheim, River Delta. Emblem of Odin (5/6). Right in the middle of this location is a huge tree. We swim under its roots and find a pier. Having got out on the shore, we go to the left side and select a barely noticeable artifact. We will follow the same path to the Yggdrasil rift.
  6. Vanaheim, River Delta. Emblem of Freya (6/6). We go to the mystical gates in this region, go around and pick up the last emblem from the ground.

How to find the Stolen Treasure Pack

  1. Midgard, Shores of the Nine. Firth (1/6). Once in the tower of Helheim, we rise to the ledge on the right side and select the first artifact from the set.
  2. Midgard, Rowers. In the center of the location is the Temple of Tyr. We move from it to the northeast and find wooden fragments. We move along them and get to the secondary location “Shores of Nine”. We crawl under a huge stone and look ahead for the fragments of the statue. On the right side of the wreckage are thorns that must be destroyed in order to gain access to the “Rowers” territory. We must get here by the side quest “Curse of Sigrun”, which is issued automatically after moving to this place. Ankh (2/6). We climb up the wall, where we will find a chest of norns. We climb even higher along the chain to find a hefty chain, which is necessary for the side quest “Curse of Sigrun”. A staircase will open on the right side, under which another artifact is lying.
  3. Midgard, Abandoned outpost. This location is located in the southwest of the Lake of Nine and is connected to the side quest Sigrun’s Curse. The request is activated automatically after entering the Abandoned Outpost. Lyra (3/6). We move in a straight line to the fourth point of the hook, which must be lowered using the nearest chain. We jump further, turn around and pick up the artifact located below.
  4. Midgard, Lake of Nine. Jambia (4/6). On the right side of the passage leading to the Raider Citadel, there is an ice wall of icicles. We destroy them and select the artifact.
  5. Midgard, Lake of Nine. Keela (5/6). Below the mystical Rowers’ Gate and above the Raiders’ Citadel, there is a passage leading to the upper right corner, to the king’s tomb. At the very beginning of this passage, we are looking for ruins. We go up the stairs to them and find a corpse, near which an artifact is lying.
  6. Midgard, Lake of Nine. Maya (6/6). We rise to a small ledge, located next to the corpse under a huge bridge that leads to the temple of Tyr.
