Regular Enemies

The skill table below is flexible, so depending on the gear you get (its bonuses), you can easily redistribute the skills as you see fit. If you feel that you lack survivability, increase the corresponding indicators. Not enough damage? Add skill points to DPS skills! For example, to increase survivability, you can improve “Mana Shield” and “Protection”.

Build Basics

Key Passive Skills:

  • Elemental Attunement: 15% chance to drop a Fire Shield that is invaluable in combat. The shield not only heals but also damages enemies. Especially useful if you need to stand still and attack with meteors.
  • Elemental Alignment: Up to 40% less Elite damage, useful in Infernal Waves and Nightmare Dungeons. Elite is out there – everywhere!
  • Mana Shield: Reduce damage by 15% for every 100 mana spent. In fact, every third Fireball will allow you to receive reduced damage for 5 seconds.
  • Protection: On cooldown, you will gain a barrier equal to 20% of your maximum health (so Fire Shield and Inferno will provide an additional shield).
  • Inner Flame: While you are healthy, you will deal 9% more damage. That’s why shields are so important! Make sure you restore your HP.
  • Devouring Flames: Increase critical strike against burning enemies by 30%-75% (maximum if the enemy is immobilized, which can be done with meteors). Crippling Flames grants a 5-10% chance to immobilize enemies for 2 seconds on accurate hits.
  • Fire Surge: Increases mana regeneration by 30% when killing burning enemies (that is, almost all).
  • Eternal Flame: Allows you to deal 15% more burning damage to enemies based on how long they burn. An important passive when fighting bosses.
  • Heat: The rate of healing per second depends on the number of burning enemies around the sorceress. Provides incredible boost if you are facing multiple enemy groups.
  • Soul Fire: Reduces your mana cost by 10% if you are stationary for 1.5 seconds. Activate your shields and spam more meteors!
  • Esu’s Ferocity: Increases Fire Critical Damage by up to 30% based on the enemy’s health and number of critical kills.

Equipment, gems, aspects

This is a difficult build that requires specific equipment. Some items only drop in the endgame. For example, meteor boosters. Items that buff ice and lightning skills may drop instead, so be prepared for some farming.

This build requires equipment with special bonuses to basic damage dealing skills. You also need to focus on increasing the damage of fire skills, from burning and fire, overall damage and speed. You need to increase parameters such as Willpower (regeneration), Intelligence (skill damage and elemental resistance) and Agility (critical hit). If possible, find equipment that grants skills such as Fireball, Fire Shield, Meteor, and Hydra. In addition to rare passive nodes.

  • Defense Aspect: When hit, if you are not at full HP, a magical bubble forms around the sorceress for 3-5 seconds. While she is in the bubble, she remains immune to anything. Activates every 90 seconds.
  • Aspect of the Protector: Dealing damage to an elite enemy forms a barrier that absorbs up to 135-270 damage over 10 seconds. This effect can only trigger once every 30 seconds.
  • Mother’s Embrace (Unique Ring): If your primary skill hits 5 or more enemies, refund X% of the cost of mana spent.

The most important aspects of equipment are enchanting and upgrading. By this point in the game, you should have enough materials to upgrade gear 3 times or so. Be sure to do this, especially with skill-boosting gear (instead of +2, you get +3 to a certain skill). Enchanting is an expensive process. You will have to go through the Infernal Waves to collect enough materials. The ability to remove an unwanted bonus will allow you to strengthen an already powerful build.

As for gems, use rubies for armor (+% max health), diamonds for jewelry (+% elemental resistance), and amethysts (+damage over time) or topazes on weapons (+% primary skill damage).

Improvement system

Starting at level 50, you will no longer earn skill points, but will instead earn 4 improvement points per level. They are used to unlock nodes in a separate tree, and each can grant at least +5 to any stat, +% damage reduction, or greatly increase your damage dealt. As you increase your cultivation level, invest points in willpower and intelligence. Also unlock a tactical glyph that fits perfectly into the DPS and elemental resistance system.

By doing this, you will get a nice bonus to the rare nodes at the top of the tree, which will increase non-physical damage by 16% (exactly the kind that the sorceress does!). Additionally, this glyph will grant a 10% damage increase for 4 seconds after using a defensive skill, so you’ll maximize the effectiveness of your teleport. You will also gain access to another Rare Node that grants +16 Intelligence and +6.4 All Elemental Resistances.

Another good node that is important to use is Flamefeeder, which will give +16% damage to burning targets and +10% direct damage increase to burning enemies. And everyone will burn!

Finally, if you’re struggling with mana, take the Unleash glyph, which increases your damage and mana regen for 3 seconds for every 50 mana spent (i.e. roughly 1 Fireball). There is a benefit, although the increase in DPS is not as significant as with other glyphs.

Witch build for cold, ice (endgame, 50+)

This build is suitable for characters of level 50, but you need to spend time farming suitable pieces of equipment. Previously, we looked at the build using the Ice Orb (second in a row), so you can use it as a base, and as you level up, switch to the current one. A sorceress with this build is characterized by high survivability, but you will have to keep an eye on her positioning.

The highlight is the incredible crowd control and powerful damage with AoE spells, achieved by maximizing all the freeze skills and further strengthening them through equipment and the improvement system. You’ll get two Frost Rings, can spam Frost Armor, powerful double Frost Orbs, and an ultimate (every 60 seconds or less) that grants immunity to damage and deals damage to anyone that stays within the screen’s line of sight.

Skill selection

First, you cast Blizzard, then throw an Ice Orb at your opponent. Stand in such a way as to surround the enemies, then apply the Nova of Ice. And attack again with the Ice Orb. If there is an elite in the group, you will be able to freeze them with your skills. Use your ult only when you feel like it takes a little effort to defeat enemies or you’re running out of health/mana.

The passive bonuses of this build give increased damage against frozen and chilled targets. However, in the case of bosses, you will have to fill an additional scale under their health bar. Only then will they receive the corresponding effect, and you will be able to deal 60% more damage to enemies.
