Warface guide:best shotguns

We tell you what guns are most often used by the Medic class fighters today

Since the Warface weapons arsenal is constantly updated with new guns (plus the authors often revise the visible and hidden tactical and technical characteristics of existing weapons), we decided to put together an up-to-date guide on the best shotguns for you at the end of 2019.

Weapons for the Medic class in the game are divided into several types: pump-action, semi-automatic and automatic shotguns. Most of these cannons shoot bullets and have tremendous damage at short distances. In addition to the three main types, in the game you can also find several non-standard cannons that fire a bullet cartridge instead of the usual shot.

Uzkon UNG-12

Let’s start with the leader in all respects – the Uzkon UNG-12 smoothbore semi-automatic shotgun. Developed by the Turkish company Uzkon Arms, the weapon has a futuristic design and is also relatively lightweight. In addition, the gun is made in a bullpup layout, which at the start could have a negative impact on its future: there are many examples when guns in a similar layout could not become widespread. Despite this, Uzkon somehow managed to achieve universal recognition and now the gun is actively supplied to more than 30 countries around the world.

Advantages and disadvantages

This gun appeared in the game about a year ago, but almost immediately received the title of a new “imba”. It’s all about its visible and hidden tactical and technical characteristics: with a small optimal firing range, the shotgun has a good rate of fire, as well as increased limb ratios (0.9 units in arms and legs). The gun comes with a special muzzle module, but its characteristics are not very different from a similar stock flash suppressor. Therefore, sometimes it makes no sense to put it on – with any flame arrester, the damage drop will be reduced from 80 to 64 units for each subsequent meter above the optimal range.

Cartridges are fed from 10-round box magazines, while its real counterpart can only use 2 or 5-round magazines. It can be said that this gives the owner of the shotgun an advantage, but this fact only compensates for the rather slow reload of 2.5 seconds. For example, if a fighter can quickly load several cartridges and immediately rush into battle on some semi-automatic with an under-barrel tubular magazine, then in the case of Uzkon UNG-12, the user will have to wait for a full reload.

Weapons from time to time are supplied in boxes of luck for credits, and its counterparts, made in various series, can also be purchased on the marketplace. Due to all its advantages, this shotgun is considered so “killer” that it is even forbidden to use it in Warface tournaments.

Fabarm XLR5 Prestige

It is a smoothbore semi-automatic shotgun designed by the Italian arms company Fabarm. The abbreviation XLR (Extra Long Range) literally translates as “Extended range”, which means ultra-long range weapon action. Indeed, Italian engineers have managed to create a weapon that exceeds the effective range of many competitive shotguns by almost 30%.

Advantages and disadvantages

The gun perfectly combines many positive qualities: good damage, good rate of fire and firing range. But the biggest advantage of this shotgun is that the semi-automatic of the gun works on a gas outlet system, and power can be produced only one cartridge at a time in the under-barrel tube magazine. The rate of fire and the speed of reloading allow the fighter to fire shots at a certain interval even when there are no cartridges in the magazine. Low accuracy when shooting from the hip is the only negative of the weapon, but at its range, the Fabarm XLR5 Prestige can be considered one of the best shotguns in the game.

Weapons can be purchased on the marketplace in various weapon series, as well as knocked out in the in-game store in boxes of luck for credits.

SAP6

The SAP6 is still a very young shotgun from the Turkish gunsmiths Dagger Arms, which was first shown in the summer of 2014. It is a shortened 12-gauge pump-action shotgun that is powered by 6 and 11-round box magazines. In addition, SAP6 is highly modular and can be provided in many different configurations to suit user preferences and / or mission requirements.

Advantages and disadvantages

This shotgun is the second most damaging shotgun in the game after Winchester 1887. This is probably what makes it more “one-shot” compared to such a legendary medic barrel as the MAG-7. In addition to the damage indicator and the magazine capacity, it is no different from the above gun, except for the drop in damage. Without a special muzzle attachment, the SAP6 has 80 units, while the MAG-7 has 70 units.

Since the shotgun uses a sliding forend for reloading (pump system), after each shot the fighter will take some time to feed a new cartridge from the box magazine. In fact, such a system does not cause any inconvenience, even if you come face to face with several enemies at the same time. The weapon performs well on the battlefield, especially in PvP battles. As we already noted, thanks to its decent damage at its range, the shotgun is able to write off any enemy. But due to the small ratios on the limbs (arms / legs – 0.8 / 0.7), in order to kill over the stated range, you will have to aim well at the body or head.

One of the main differences of this gun from direct competitors is that you can get it not only for warbucks, but also completely free for experience, since SAP6 is in the “Legendary” branch of suppliers.

Winchester 1887

Good old “Winchester”, which the Terminator himself once used in the second part of the franchise of the same name. The Winchester 1887 model was developed by John Moses Browning in 1887 and was subsequently produced by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. This model is a multi-shot lever action shotgun, and is the only weapon of this principle in Warface.

Advantages and disadvantages

If the previous shotgun we are considering was introduced into the game much recently, then players have known Winchester 1887 for more than two years. Its main feature is obscenely high damage, since it is the first and so far the only weapon with an 800 damage indicator. In addition to the colossal damage, Winchester 1887 also has increased damage rates when shooting at the head and limbs (head / arms / legs – 1.4 / 1 / 0.9), which makes it even more lethal. Of course, if you hit the enemy no further than six meters, then almost any shot will be his last. But on top of that, the shotgun has a number of disadvantages.

In order to somehow equate Winchester 1887 and its competitors, the developers have completely removed the ability to customize weapons through any modules. Even the sight of this gun is missing: the user can be content with only a small slot above the striker. But this is not surprising, since a real model would also not have such an opportunity. At the same time, I would like to note that few of the players use the scope for Winchester 1887. The point is that after a shot you cannot take the weapon away from your face until the fighter completely distorts Henry’s bracket. Another repelling factor can be the low rate of fire. For each subsequent shot from Winchester 1887, the player will need to spend more than half a second. For comparison, this is twice as much as for SAP6 or MAG-7.

However, this gun is still a formidable weapon in Warface to this day. Winchester 1887 can be found from time to time in the game store in boxes of luck for credits. The same gun, only in the Phobos series of weapons, can be found on the trading floor for a fixed price.

MAG-7

This smooth-bore pump-action shotgun was designed in South Africa in the mid-90s specifically for close combat and confined space combat. Its small design allows you to “sweep” streets and corridors of buildings without giving yourself away. The fact is that most pump action shotguns cannot boast of such compact dimensions, and therefore are not suitable for use in confined spaces. Due to its small size and shortened barrel, the MAG-7 is banned from civil circulation in many countries of the world, including Russia and the United States.

Advantages and disadvantages

The once “legendary” shotgun MAG-7 in recent years slowly but surely gives up its leading position, giving way to new copies of such weapons. Good indicators of damage and range, as well as a small drop in damage make it easy to deal with enemies at both close and medium distances. But to kill the enemy further than six meters, the fighter will have to use the sight and aim precisely at the body or head. Otherwise, due to the small ratio on the limbs (arms / legs – 0.8 / 0.7), the first shot will often not be fatal. It is also worth considering what your opponent is wearing, because if it is some kind of “hard” assembly of the “Magma” helmet and combat armor, then you will definitely not see a one-shot when shooting from the hip. A special feature of this shotgun is its rate of fire.

Despite its shortcomings, the shotgun is still actively used today in Warface tournaments, as well as in rating battles. Although the cannon has not given out such “one-shots” for a long time as in the old days, it is still too early to write it off. The weapon comes in boxes of luck for credits, which can be found from time to time in the Warface in-game store.

Marlin 1894 Custom

The Marlin 1894 was patented on August 1, 1893 by renowned gunsmith Lewis L. Hepburn. Although by this time the pump-action mechanism had already been invented, Hepburn introduced into his weapon the classic “Henry clip” for similar rifles, which is also used in the previously described Winchester 1887 rifle. Oddly enough, in Marlin 1894 cartridges of 12 gauge were never used, since the most the first developments involved the use of cartridges of caliber 44. Kolt and 45. Magnum.

Advantages and disadvantages

The Marlin 1894 Custom is one of several unique shotguns in the game that use rifle cartridges instead of standard shot. The cannon has medium damage and increased multipliers to the head and limbs. In addition, the weapon is endowed with the longest firing range of all shotguns in the game, of course, in addition to its golden version (7.5 meters). Thanks to all the positive qualities, a fighter with such a weapon is able to deal with enemies at fairly large distances. If, for a number of reasons, a single hit was not enough to destroy the enemy, then in most cases the opponent will be knocked down. A similar system is used when shooting from sniper rifles, mainly when they hit the limbs.

Due to the fact that the cannon fires a rifle cartridge instead of a shot, when fired from the hip it is sometimes very difficult to hit the enemy even at the shortest distance. Therefore, the owners of Marlin 1894 Custom in many cases will have to aim to defeat the enemy. The stock scope will not allow you to aim quickly, but if you use the rare MojjiZero reflex sight with 1.2x fast magnification, then the time to enter aiming mode can be halved.

The Marlin 1894 Custom is a very interesting but difficult to learn instance. If you set out to master this gun, then of course, after some time it will become your main weapon for the Medic class.

Typhoon F12

Typhoon F12 – is a semi-automatic rifle chambered for 12 mm, made on the basis of the famous American AR-15 rifle. The Turkish gunsmiths did not “reinvent the wheel” and almost completely repeated all the controls of the AR-15 rifle in their shotgun.

Advantages and disadvantages

The gun does not stand out for any tactical and technical characteristics or damage coefficients. Also, the shotgun is endowed with a very small optimal range, over which it is not possible to kill with a single hit (except for an accurate headshot). Nevertheless, thanks to the good rate of fire and the large magazine, the fighter does not have to wait for a “one-shot”, since in many cases it will be easier for him to shoot again and finally write off the enemy.

The difference between this shotgun from competitors is that the user can assemble it with his own hands. To do this, you just need to purchase a battle pass for any compendium and then just play Warface, collecting resources on a special page.
