Meaning of Salat :
The Arabic salat is derived from the word ‘sela’, which means bondage. Because of the bond between the servant and his Lord through prayer, it has been named Salat. And in Islamic terminology, the prayer is that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) demonstrated that particular method of worship which he taught in the hands of Muslims. In the singular prayer, the names of certain words and deeds, with the help of regular terms, which are indicated by takbir and end with salutations.
Importance of Salat :
Islam is the only religion of Allah. This is the second fundamental prayer of religion. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “The foundation of Islam on five grounds. “[Bukhari and Muslim] is the second of the five Salat. Salat is characteristic of the believers. Allah praises the believers, saying, ” They establish prayer. “[ Baqarah: 1 ] The person who interferes with the Salat, has the protection of his religion. And the one who wastes the prayer will waste more than anything else. “To whom the importance of Salat is as much to Islam as it is to him.” The last will of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was Salat. During his departure from the world, he warned his people (As-Salat, As-Salat). ‘Be Careful About Prayer’
The world witnessed his last laugh as he observed this prayer. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) looked at the mosque from his Hujra and saw that Abu Bakr was performing Imamat. Everyone joined him in prayer. He laughed with contentment when he saw such a beautiful view of the religion planted in his hand. When the prayer goes out, no other part of Islam will remain. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ” The bonds of Islam will be torn down all at once. When a bond is torn, people will grab the next one. The first Islamic rule will be abolished and the last one will rise. ‘[Ibn Hibban]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) once looked at the moon and said, ” You will see your Lord; As you see the moon, you do not have to hurry to see him. ‘ If you can, then do not give up before sunrise and before sunset. ‘[Bukhari and Muslim]
Allah condemns those who neglect prayer, saying, ” After them is a dishonest descendant who abolished the prayer and followed evil deeds. So they will soon see the punishment of Hell. “[ Maryam: 1 ] The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘The person who left the Salat (prayer) was wasted. ‘[Bukhari]
Prayer is an important worship – for which the Prophet’s Apostles have made a sincere effort and prayed for specific guidance and guidance from God. Like Abraham. He said, ” My Lord, make me one who establishes prayer and those from my family. O our Lord, accept my prayer. “[ Ibrahim: 1] Allah Ta’ala Isma’il He praised it because he used to establish prayer and encourage others to pray. Irshad says, ” He instructed his family to offer Salat and Zakat, and he was pleased with his Lord. “[ Mariam: 1 ]
Prayer Order :
Prayer is the duty of every Muslim. Allah says, ” Establish prayer and give zakat. “[ Baqarah: 1 ] Allah intends to say,” So establish prayer, surely the prayer is obligatory on the believers at certain times. “[ Nisa: 1 ] Elsewhere,” and they were only commanded to worship God. To Him is the one who makes the deen devoted; Establishing Salat and giving Zakat; And this is the right religion. “[ Bayina: 1 ]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ” You instruct your children to pray when they screen for seven years. And when they reach the age of ten, strike for prayer and separate their beds. “[Sahih al-Jamam: 1] The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said,” Allah has obligated five times a prayer, that a person who does good deeds will then perform it in time and earn his bowels and concentration properly. Forgive him. And Allah’s will on those who do not do so, will either forgive them; Nine will punish him. ‘
Prayer Status :
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “The essence of everything is Islam, the pillar of Islam is Salat and its top back is Jihad. “[Tirmidhi: 1] Salat is the most beloved and best practice of God. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ” You are steadfast, do not count. You work Remember that your best practice is Salat, and no one except the Believer takes care of the burden. ‘[Ibn Majah: 23]
On the Day of Resurrection, the servant’s first prayer will be calculated. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ” On the Day of Resurrection , the first servant will be reckoned with. If his prayer is right then all his actions will be fine. And if his prayer is lost, then all the deeds will be lost. ‘[Tiger: 25]
Looking at Karim in the Qur’an it is seen that Allah has directed the prayer in various ways. He has ever ordered Salat with Zakat. As Irshad has said, “ Pray in prayer and give zakat. “[ Bakara: 1 ] Never with Zikir. As Irshad says, ” Of course , he will succeed in self-purification and remember the name of his Lord and then pray. “[ Ala: 1-3 ] Elsewhere, it is said:” And establish prayer for my remembrance. ” (Skin: 1) Ever with patience. As Ershad said: “ And you seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, it is difficult for others to be modest. “[ Bakara: 1 ]
Ever with sacrifice. As Ershad said: ” So pray for your Lord and make sacrifices. “[ Qaiser: 12 ] Elsewhere it is said:” Say, ‘Surely my prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death are for Allah, the Lord of all creation. He has no partner and I have been instructed. And I am the first of the Muslims. “[ Unam: 1-5 ]
Virtues of Salat :
Salat Noor. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ” Holiness completes half of Iman and Alhamdulillah (pbuh) , Subhanal 1h and Alhamdulillah (Allah) fill the space between the heavens and the earth; Evidence against. ‘[Muslim: 122] The poets of Salat eradicate all sins except sin. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The atonement for sins committed during the five times of Salat and from one Zuma to the other Zuma. As long as the poets do not engage in sin. ‘[Muslim: 3]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ” If a person has a river in front of his house and he bathes it five times daily, can his body be dirty?” The disciples said, “No.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “The parable of the five-fold prayer is likewise.” Allah forgives sins through it . ‘ [Muslim: 1] He gives another parable: ‘ When a Muslim servant prays for God’s sake, his sins fall as if the leaves of this tree are falling. ‘[Ahmad: 21]
It is on the basis of the quality of the prayer that the success of the Hereafter and the honorable place of Paradise will be determined. Allah says: ” Surely the believers have succeeded, who are humble in their prayers. “[ Al-Mumin: 8-12 ] Then he said,” And those who guard their prayer will be the heirs – those who will inherit Paradise. They will settle there. “[ Believers: 1-3 ] It is through this prayer that a Companion gains the taufiq to enter Paradise before his other martyr brother. It is through prayer that the believer can sometimes reach the place of the Siddiq and the martyr.
Prayer is the means of getting closer to Allah:
Prayer is a strong bond between God and His servant. In the journey of Isra and Mirage, prayer is made in heaven, so that till the Day of Resurrection, the bridge between heaven and earth will be closed, the door to ascension to the higher worlds from the world’s slopes and earthly slopes is always open. Although the sky is not something isolated from the world. However far away. Prayer is a mirage, in which the souls are humble and devotedly return to the court of Allah. Through prayer, the believers get closer to Allah. As the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) attained closeness, through the mirage.
Through Salat Borak, the servant quickly crosses the distance between him and Allah. The prostration is the last place to get closer to God. Allah says, ” prostrate and draw near.” “[ Alaq: 1 ] The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said,” In prostration, the servant attains the most intimacy with Allah. Therefore, in prostration you pray more and more. ‘[Muslim: 3]
Anas said. He said, ” Fifty-one prayer is obligated upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the night of the mirage.” Then it was reduced to five rak’ats. It was later called, “O Muhammad, my decision does not change. You will receive the reward of fifty-five prayers in exchange for this five-time prayer. ‘[Ahmed, Nassai and Tiramizi]
Effect of Salat on the Life of Muslims :
Prayer protects a person from sin, while sin acts as a barrier between the sin and the person. Whenever a crime or a crime is committed, it immediately prompts repentance.
Regarding the role and effect of the prayer of the Prophet, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “When one of you sleeps, the devil gives three giris on the back of his neck. At each fall he says, still many nights, sleep. If he is awake and remembers the name of Allah, a girdle opens. If he opens the second enclosure, if he prays, then the third enclosure opens. As a result, he has a karmic and cheerful heart in the morning, otherwise he will be in the morning with a sluggish, inactive and unholy mind. ‘[Bukhari: 1]
Since Salat is a major part of worship and has been shown to have a profound effect on people, the disbelievers are shuib. Referring to the invitation to his prayer, he rejected his call, saying, “They said,” O Shu’ib, does your prayer give you orders that we should leave those whom our forefathers worshiped? Or we leave everything we want in our wealth. You are a very tolerant gentleman. ‘
Prayer energizes the heart of a believer. Promotes welfare. As a result, he was able to defeat the demands and sluggishness of the instinct. Allah says: ” Man has indeed been created unstable. When the danger touches him, he becomes overwhelmed. And when goodness touches him, he becomes very bitter, except those who pray. Who are regular in their prayer. “[ Marriage: 8-20 ]
However, there are several conditions for the person to influence the prayer. Ex:
১. Praying like time. Allaah says, ” Prayer is definitely a time obligatory for believers. “[ Nisa: 1 ] The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was once asked,” Which act is more dear to Allah? He said to pray like time. ‘[Bukhari: 1]
- Establish prayer. That is, its obligations, obligations and circumcision to be exact. Allah says, “Establish prayer, and pay zakat and bow with those who bow down. “[ Baqara: 1 ] Elsewhere,” Establish Salat from the time the sun goes down to the darkness of the night and the Qur’an in the dawn. It is indeed the time of the Qur’an (the angels) in the dawn. “[ ISRAEL: 1 ]
৩. Praying regularly. Allah says: ” Those who are regular in their prayers. “[ Marriage: 25 ]
৪. Be careful about prayer. Allah says: ” And those who guard their prayer. They will be honored in Paradise. “[ Marriage: 1 ]
৫. Praying with humility and humility. Allah says: ” Surely the believers have succeeded. Those who humble themselves in prayer. “[ Believers: 1-3 ]
Therefore, it is the duty of every Muslim to perform every prayer in due time with due importance. Only then can we benefit the world and the hereafter. I can survive the evil of both worlds. May Allah help us.
