Here’s what the player needs to know about Power Armor
Fallout 76 , by tradition, allows the player to use power armor, providing significant benefits. Where to find power armor and how to use it, we will tell you in this guide.
Where to get power armor
To get your own power armor, you first need to find it. You can find an untouched kit or thrown away by other players. For example, one is located in Hornright Industrial Headquarters, if you go through the “Goldmine” quest, to which we have dedicated a separate guide .
Before entering the power armor, you should put a nuclear block in it, which is spent during the following actions: running, accelerating, powerful attacks and using VATS. If you have another nuclear block in your inventory, it will automatically replace the empty one. Nuclear blocks can be found in pristine power armor sets.
By entering power armor, you assign it. It will return to you if you left it somewhere. But if you throw out the armor through the R button, then other players can pick it up.
If the found armor is not put on and requires a certain level, then collect all the elements from it, after which you can pick up the frame.
Why do you need power armor
- Gives a high level of protection.
- Increases melee damage.
- Increases weight tolerance.
- Falls become less dangerous.
- If you are wearing a helmet, the time spent underwater will increase.
Power Armor Items and Service Point
In addition to the frame, power armor has elements that provide increased protection. Without them, the framework will not lose its other advantages. Elements in battles will break and require repair.
This will require a service point where you need to get up in power armor and get out of it. The item will allow you to repair, manufacture and modify elements. If there is a scheme, the item can be built on your base in the “Manufacturing” section. We talked about construction in another guide .
