If the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 paid great attention to weapons, then with armor everything turned out somehow not so well. After playing for over 50 hours, I never even really looked at what items of clothing my V was wearing. Either it wasn’t very interesting, or there wasn’t much to choose from.
However, if you try to beat the game on the maximum difficulty level, you won’t be able to ignore clothes. Like weapons, armor has its own characteristics, is divided into rarity levels and can be improved through numerous modifications (don’t be like me, don’t expect them to drop themselves, buy from clothing merchants!). But when compared to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or any other action RPG like Surge, Cyberpunk 2077 is really missing something. Take the same bonuses for a full set of armor – they simply aren’t here. The only thing that can force you to put together a unique set is the desire to create a stylish V. But since the game has a first-person perspective, you simply won’t be able to enjoy it properly. The couple of moments where the camera shows V from the side are exclusively related to the ending of the game.
So all this is in vain? Not at all. Clothing items that belong to a unique set provide certain bonuses that will specifically enhance V’s specific parameters. Some are associated with melee weapons, others with long-range weapons or even protection from various elements (electricity, fire, acid). In the guide below I will tell you how to collect 6 legendary and the only cult set.
There are a total of 6 clothing slots in Cyberpunk 2077:
- Headdress
- Face (glasses, mask)
- T-shirt or T-shirt
- Jacket
- Trousers
- Shoes
There is also a seventh clothing slot, marked with the word “Special”. It does not affect your parameters in any way, but is used for costumes that completely block the visual effects from all other items of clothing.
Any of the listed sets can be obtained both during and after completing the main storyline. Also, each of the listed items can be found in other locations, but some are assigned to specific tasks or orders that are important to complete.
Important . Sometimes epic items may drop instead of legendary items. But don’t despair. Before picking up the item, save and reload the game. Legendary should appear instead of epic. Didn’t it work out? Repeat the procedure until a positive result. Usually this applies to things lying inside containers and boxes, less often – falling out from just killed enemies. Items on already dead characters (corpses) usually do not change rarity.
Single armor set (solo)
The appearance of clothes directly depends on the gender of your V. However, the name of each part remains the same. Only one word changes – for example, instead of trousers for a male character, you get a skirt for a female V, and so on.
Titanium solo glasses with army patch
Can be found on a dead body that lies in the south of Pacifica. The closest fast travel point is the Protein Farm, located west of the body with the legendary glasses. You can also reach this location from the gas station (another fast travel point) located to the east along the main road. In this case, move to the fields along the road with a giant “Biotechnics” sign. This is the first right turn when heading southwest from the fast travel terminal. It is difficult to navigate in the fields, and the radar will now and then lead you along some incomprehensible routes. Just drive to the next intersection and turn in the right direction.
Heavy Shock Absorbing Solo Jacket
Look inside Glen’s small cage, in its northern part. It is near the city center. Go along the red alley and look for the body behind the vault. Southeast of the Embers fast travel point, across the road going north (Glen fast travel point). From this point, head southeast and cross the street. To the right of the building with a large sign “01” there will be an alley. Go there. The cage is on the left, and you can only enter it through a door that requires technology level 16. Paradoxically, I was unable to find another entry point, although in the case of all other legendary things there is always an alternative. Once inside, go to the end of the cage and look for a corpse on the left.
Ultra-thin composite shirt solo
This legendary shirt can be found in the easternmost part of the Wasteland, on a corpse lying in the open air. East of the Old Turbines. Look for the corpse near a small rock formation.
Reinforced faux leather pants
These free reinforced pants can be found as normal loot, lying on a body in the back of a large building, among the trash in the southwest part of Wellsprings, Heywood. The closest fast travel point is the Pumping Station. Go to the parking lot, the entrance to which is located near the Russell Street Fast Travel Terminal. Continue on and go around the building from the south. Walk across the littered beach and follow the building around the back until you reach an area with a metal green fence and a door. Jump over the fence and building, go down and go inside. Inside the hut there will be a corpse with pants. Deadman is a member of the Animal gang.
Solo boots with gold plated toe
Boots should be found in Kabuki, Watson. Move from where you were at the beginning of the storyline. After the stairs, turn left and take the elevator to the third floor. Behind the cook there is a metal container containing the necessary item. If an epic item appears here, reload the game. In my case, there was always a legendary item lying here, but since we are talking about a container, everything can be the same as with a weapon.

Travel to the Wasteland and look for a metal container near Reported Crime: Death from Above. Along the road in the Wasteland, south of Pacifica and east of the Abandoned Gas Station fast travel point, there is a burned out car with a corpse lying next to it. Search the body and read the information on the flash drive. This is how the task begins. The marked location will appear. It is located north of the Abandoned Gas Station fast travel point. The contents of the container are randomized, but there is always an infovisor inside.
Heat Resistant Hybrid Netrunner Jumpsuit
This item can be collected from a corpse located in Glen’s small metal hut, Heywood. This is near the fast travel point Megatower H2. To equip the item, character level 30 is required. It is more convenient to enter through the entrance from the road. Stand in the marked place and look north. There is a metal shack ahead with an orange pipe to the right of it. Go to the back of the hut and look for a hole at the bottom. Make your way through it and go to the second room, where there will be a corpse with valuable loot.
Netrunner pants with protective membrane
The pants are located on top of what appears to be a water tower built on top of a building. Look for her east of the Organized Crime quest in Northside, Watson. The closest fast travel point is Docks. This is north of the item’s location. There are two identical towers there. You are interested in the northern one, with the yellow motorcycle at the bottom of the stairs. These iconic boots are located on the body inside Charter Hill Mine, Westbrook.
Composite netrunner boots
Located near the fast travel point Luxari Apartments. From there, go south along Grand Ave and go right at the next intersection. Look for a corpse in purple and pink clothing at the top of the shaft where the entrance is. Right next to the sidewalk.
Legendary Fixer’s Clothes
Electronic fixer glasses
This item can be found in an alley, on a corpse, behind an industrial area filled with containers and a large crane in Arroyo, Santo Domingo. The closest fast travel point is Piez, west of where the item is located. The corpse is associated with a side quest or reputation. I haven’t been able to determine what exactly causes it to appear, but if you complete most of the side quests/bounties (especially the romance and story-related missions) and have a high enough reputation level, you will see a corpse in this location. In my case, V had level 26 and reputation level 46. I examined the location a few hours earlier – there was no body.
Three-layer business suit of a fixer
This suit lies in a box in the center of a destroyed Ferris wheel, right in front of one of the capsules in Rancho Coronado, in Santo Domingo County.
Heat Resistant Bustier Fixer
This item of clothing can be collected from a corpse found in Vista Del Rey. For women it will be a bustier, for a male character it will be a shirt. From Vine Street, move between the containers and follow the alley. The corpse is on the right, next to the Valentino symbol depicted on the wall.
Reinforced fixer skirt
Look on top of the building in a small structure located on the roof. You are interested in the building at the entrance to Chpok Street, Japantown, Westbrook. A female character will receive a skirt, a male character will receive pants. Move from the fast travel point Megatower H8. Go down the stairs and look at the purple Chpok Street sign. Look left and go up until you reach a metal shack on top of a building. It will be much easier with a double jump implant. You can buy it from any ripper.
Soft durable fixer shoes
Search on a body in a broken blue van (driver) in Japantown, Westbrook. Near the Crescent and Broad fast travel point. The van is on the ramp leading into the underground garage behind the fast travel point.
Johnny Silverhand’s iconic clothing
Each of these items comes at a default Rare level, so you’ll have to focus on upgrading “Techniques” to upgrade the rarity to Legendary.
Aviators Johnny
Johnny’s sunglasses are one of the rewards for completing the quest “In the Footsteps of the Past” (becomes available in the second act). The mission is quite long and includes several stages between a conversation with Bestia and a visit to Silverhand’s grave in abandoned oil wells. You won’t be able to miss the aviators, so the most important thing is to simply complete the mission.
Replica Johnny’s Samurai Jacket
Another item that you will receive during the mission “In the Footsteps of the Past”. You need to wait for the moment when Bestia and V go in search of Adam Smasher. Look into Bestia’s car to get the item.

And here you already need to complete the “Psychofan” order. In this case, you can pick up the item from the bedroom of Kerry’s apartment. The order will be issued by Sebastian Padre Ibarra as soon as you find yourself at the place marked on the map (Glen, Heywood). The order may be blocked by low reputation. If you don’t have this order, continue doing other things and come back here later. Please note that pants can only be picked up when visiting this location to order. In the future, the elevator leading to the apartment floor will be blocked!
Johnny’s boots
Johnny’s famous shoes are inside a container that can be accessed during the Heirloom order. The mission begins in Charter Hill, Westbrook. When you approach the place marked on the map, Bestia will contact you. The order may not be available due to low reputation. In that case, pump it up. Boots can be picked up at any time after completing the mission.
