How to use the attic and subfloor in an ArcheAge home

Every ArcheAge home has an enclosed attic and subfloor. You can put furniture there without breaking the rules of the game. This guide explains how to enter hidden places and what the restrictions are.

The easy way. Place several pieces of furniture on top of each other (marble column, floor slab, Mirage boxes) so that the height reaches the level of the roof. Place a cheap Stacking Chair in front of a wall. You can use any other chair that sits on top of other furniture and on the ground. Sit down and then stand up.

The character can get stuck in the wall, but thanks to this it will be possible to move the camera inward. Place a chair on the other side of the wall to sit on it and go inside. In my case, the chair is behind the wall, but I have to use bounce or teleportation to get out.

The hard way. It is necessary to find the height inside the room using the same boxes. You need to put a chair at the top of the structure. Sit on it and then stand up. The character should appear on the top floor. If the character just falls from the chair to the floor, then you need to put a couple of blocks for greater height.

Please note that not in all buildings it is possible to enter the closed parts of the house. For example, a character in “Colonial Residence” will get stuck in textures when trying to get inside the roof, but the foundation allows the entire area under the house to be used. For some buildings, it is impossible to use the subfloor, since they are not installed on a slope and the foundation came out low.

Interior

The attic and basement are not designed for players to place furniture and walk around. Therefore, there may be 3 problems.

  • The floor under the roof can be floating. The character will fall down and roll to the edges from the center. This is corrected by slabs and carpets.
  • The roof has fuzzy boundaries for furniture due to invisible walls.
  • In the underground it is impossible to put furniture that cannot be placed on the floor, as well as too high interior items.

Placing interior items in these parts of the house does not increase the number of furniture items available for placement.

Share in the comments if you managed to get into the closed parts. If it didn’t work out, then why and in what house.
