How to make Ephene gear and how to synthesize it

With Update 3.5, ArcheAge introduces Ephenic gear, which cannot be upgraded with scrolls, as it is synthesized similarly to the utility suit, underwear and cloak. This secret consists of two sections: how to make Ephen equipment and how to pump it. It is easy to make an efen (although not cheap), but it is much more difficult to pump it and many times more expensive.

How to make Ephene gear

There are quite a few materials for crafting an efen and they can be listed.

  1. The first materialis sealed Ernard equipment of the Age of Miracles. Efen is made on the basis of Ernard equipment, but for crafting, you will need to seal the Ernard with the help of a “magnetic core”, and its quality should not be lower than the era of miracles.

  2. The third materialis blueprints that can be made on the Ephenic altar, located at the light in Efen’Hal (you can get there through the portal that opens after killing Kir’fer, or fly in on a glider from the mountains).

To craft, you need four bottles of kir’fer poison, four Ephenian armor and fifty units of alkaline solution (kir’fer poison can be obtained from fifty drops of kir’fer poison on Efen’Hal during an event or from mobs, and Ephenian armor can be obtained from 50 pieces of Ephenian armor in Whaler’s Bay during the event or from mobs).

    • Flame Planks – for Staffs, Shields, Bows and Tools (15 pcs.)
    • Iridescent Crystal – for necklaces, earrings and rings (30 pcs.)
  2. The fifth materialis oils, bars of gold and akhium.
    • Clear Impregnating Oil – for Light Armor Set (30 pcs.)

Flame Cloth, Flame Leather, Flame Metal Ingot, and Flame Planks are made from four materials, but three of them are used to craft a single Cloth, Leather, Metal, or Plank:

Compositions and oils are crafted from charcoal and various raw materials such as rice, peanuts and corals. If you transport coal yourself , grow everything you need for oils or compounds on scarecrows, then craft efen will be much cheaper, but it takes a lot of time and work points .

Flaming Cloth (Tailoring), Flaming Leather (Leatherworking), Flaming Metal Ingots (Blacksmithing), and Flaming Planks (Woodworking) can only be made in the Castle Workshop, which is located in the trading square in neutral locations of the original mainland: sunny fields, resting lands , sangemar, salfimar, nuimar or the abyss. The creation of these materials requires fifty thousand skill in the specified crafts, but if there is not enough skill in the craft, then you can use the auxiliary items .

How to upgrade Ephene equipment

Despite the fact that Ernard equipment of the era of miracles is used when crafting, the efhen will end up being of normal quality. Unlike any other equipment, it needs to be synthesized (like a suit, underwear and raincoats), but not special items are used, but other equipment.

The main condition for synthesis is that items must be of the same type and quality or higher as the Ephenic equipment used in the synthesis. That is, when synthesizing Ephenian leggings of ordinary quality, leggings of ordinary, rare or unique quality are suitable, but synthesizing leggings of the era of miracles will no longer work to use leggings of relic quality for synthesis, since they are lower in quality than the era of miracles. The synthesis of armor does not take into account whether they are light, medium or heavy. Weapons only take into account the following characteristics: one-handed, two-handed, bow or tool.

The amount of experience gained depends on what equipment is used:

  • Instance gear gives the lowest amount of experience, but is the cheapest option: Khadir’s Farm, Cradle of Destruction, Burnt Fortress Arsenal, Howling Abyss, Nagashar and Eternal Isle (Dauta)
  • Equipment from the Pleasure Gardens instance grants twice as much experience as equipment from other instances
  • The equipment of the “nameless fortress” is very simple and cheap, in addition, it has a great chance of improvement, but the advantage of this equipment is that it can be re-crafted into obsidian T1 and get more experience when synthesizing

  • One-handed Ephenic weapons and shields: melee critical strike chance, ranged critical strike chance, spell critical strike chance, healing critical chance, dexterity, skill cast time.
  • Two-handed Ephenic weapons: melee critical strike chance, ranged critical strike chance, spell critical strike chance, critical healing chance, dexterity, skill cast time.
  • Efen bows: restore health in battle, restore mana in battle, pierce armor, ignore resistance.
  • Efenian strings and wind instruments: melee attack power, ranged attack power, spell power, healing efficiency.
  • Efen Necklaces: Health, Mana, Resistance, Critical Heal Chance, Armor Penetration, Ignore Resistance.
  • Efen Earrings: health, mana, resistance, evasion, damage reduction, parrying melee attacks, delay in applying skills when hit.
  • Efen rings: health, mana, resistance, additional damage of melee skills, additional damage of ranged skills, additional damage of caster skills, dexterity, time of using skills, armor penetration.

Additional effects can be changed randomly during synthesis at the moment when equipment is improving in quality. The effect can also be changed with the help of the Scroll “Drawings of the Ephenian Encyclopedist”, which is made from the following materials:

  • Scroll of Cloak Cutter’s Enchantment x1 (sold in the shop for twenty-five thousand honor points)

Efen cloak

The Ephenian Cloak is the most affordable Ephenian armor. It is made from the commander’s cloak, the blueprints of the Ephenian armorer, fifty tokens of courage (sold in the store for two thousand honor points), ten essences of the lunar akhium and two units of flaming cloth or tanned leather.

Unlike other Ephenic armor, the cloak has four synthesis effects, where the first effect depends on the chosen cloak of the commander. Another difference is that equipment is synthesized by “shards of creation”, not just other cloaks. Also, the cloak can only be upgraded to the quality of the era of myths, but with update 4.5 it will be possible to improve it to the era of the Twelve.

Efen runes

Any rune can be applied to Ephene equipment. In addition, runes were specially created for him, which can only be applied to a helmet, breastplate, belt, bracers, gloves, leggings and shoes. If you apply three, four or seven runes of the same type, then you can get an additional effect.

  • To craft an efen, it is imperative to use the Ernard of the era of miracles, since using the Ernard of the era of legends and above is simply not profitable. You can sell the Ernard mace of a fanatic of the era of legends and get fifty thousand gold from it, and then for twenty-five thousand gold you can buy a mace of the first era. If you use a mace of the era of legends to craft an efen, then twenty-five thousand gold simply disappears.
  • When creating any Ephenic equipment, 1680 work points and 432 gold are consumed.
