ArcheAge – T2 packs

What are T2 packs, where to get them and where to put them.

The easiest, fastest and most dangerous way to earn gold in ArcheAge is to transport T2 packs. T2 packs are packs that you just need to buy and deliver to get gold. Unlike regional packs , they do not require any resources, only gold to purchase.

Types of packs

T2 packs are transported between three continents and you can get gold for them. The eastern packs arise on the trading posts of the eastern mainland, the western ones on the trading posts of the western mainland, and the primordial ones on the trading posts of the sparkling coast.

T3 packs are obtained from T2 packs. They are transported inside the mainland and you can get charcoal for them. To take a pack to coal on the western mainland, you need to purchase an eastern pack. To take a pack to coal on the eastern mainland, you need to purchase a western pack.

Where and where to carry T2 packs

All packs are bought and delivered at trading posts. If you buy a western pack on the western mainland, then it will be possible to hand it over at any trading post on the eastern and initially mainland, and receive gold as a reward. If you take this pack to the “Freedom Island”, then you can get the “Alkaline solution”.

The trading posts of the western mainland are located in the following locations:

  • Solrid Peninsula;
  • Two Crowns;
  • Shooting Star Peninsula (military zone).

Trading posts of the eastern mainland are located in the following locations:

  • Peninsula of Dawn;
  • Singing land;
  • Inistra (military zone).

The trading posts of the original mainland are located on the Shimmering Coast, which belong to the Nui Alliance and the Harni Alliance.

An additional point of delivery of goods of the trading posts is the “Island of Freedom” (marked in blue in the screenshot below). For the delivery of packs of trading posts, you can get several “Alkaline solutions”.

Where and where to carry T3 packs

Packs for coal are bought at the trading posts, and then they are handed over at the points of exchange of goods of the trading posts, which are located near the houses of the regional community.

Drop off points on the western mainland:

  • Gwynedar Forest;
  • Immergrun Highlands;
  • Swampy lowlands.

Drop off points on the eastern mainland:

  • Tiger Ridge;
  • Falconry Plateau;
  • Ruins of Hariharala.

Drop off point on the original mainland:

  • Osh Castle.

Where do the packs come from

T2 pack western or eastern is produced from regional packs :

  • regional packs, which are made in ordinary packs (14 pieces);
  • regional packs, which are made in a regional community or in a trade warehouse (8 pieces);
  • regional packs, which are made using a farm hinge (4 pieces)

T2 pack of the original mainland is made from regional packs of the original mainland:

  • regional pacas, which are made in sunny fields (dried thorny fern leaves), dormant lands (crushed foxtail), sangemare (bristle flour), salfimare (light fern wine), nuimare (dried shoots of the beard) or in the abyss (cut zandanite);
  • a regional pack made in the bay of whalers “Jellyfish seasoning” from jellyfish shoots (grown only in the bay of whalers) or a pack “Goldflower powder” from goldflower leaves (grown only in Osh castle).

Seeds for Paks of the Primal Continent are crafted from sovereigns (ten seeds can be obtained for one sovereign) at the Regional Goods Workshop. You can only grow seeds in those locations where the seeds were made.

T3 packs for coal appear when T2 packs are handed over to the trading post. That is, if you bring the western pack from the western mainland to the eastern one, then a T3 pack for coal will appear at this trading post.

Buying and handing over a pack

To buy, you need to go to the NPS “Trading point of the trading post”. You will need gold and a “Merchant Certificate”, which is sold in the shop for three hundred craft reputation (tradable item).

If a T2 pack was purchased, then it is necessary to take it to another mainland by sea. If a T3 pack was purchased, then it is necessary to take it to the point of exchange of goods of the trading posts inside the mainland.

In the case of a T2 pack, you will need an NPS “Purchase of goods from factories”, to which you can sell the pack and get gold for it. If you hand over the pack to the island of freedom, you can get an alkaline solution.

In the case of T3 pack for coal, you will need an NPS “Exchange of goods of factories”, to which you can give the pack and get charcoal for it.

Shadow Dealer

On the trading posts of the western and eastern continents, you can summon the “Shadow Dealer”, which is sold in useful trifles. The Shadow Dealer replaces the NPC for buying and delivering packs of factories, as well as surrendering regional packs. Its convenience lies in the fact that it can be summoned directly on the ship.

The Shadow Dealer is supplied in a package, so after using it, a timer begins to operate, after which the item will disappear from the inventory. During this time, it will be possible to summon the dealer for five minutes at the trading post, after which a rollback will take effect and it will not be possible to summon the dealer again within the same five minutes. If the dealer was summoned a minute before the end of the item, then the shadow dealer will not disappear along with the item.

What to carry packs on

It is worth remembering that you can always carry one pack on your back on any vehicle.

By land

The donkey is allowed to carry one pack on its back. It can be bought in a mirage or in a shop for a crafting reputation (RR 3000). With the help of the first skill, the donkey can increase its speed by 30% within one minute, but this will require one carrot (carrot seeds are bought from the NPC “Seeds and Saplings” and grows in only forty-three minutes).

Tractors are divided by pack capacity:

  • “Small tractor” holds two packs. You can get: for completing the Blue Salt Consortium quest line, which begins in the golden plains at Summerfield; in the store for fifty Delphic stars; in the bonus storefor five hundred bonuses.
  • “Traktor” holds four packs. Received: for completing the Blue Salt Consortium quest line, which upgrades a small tractor; craft from a drawing of a tractor on a workbench.
  • The “agile tractor” holds six packs. Can be obtained by upgrading a tractor with seven Vehicle Patents, which are sold in the store for one hundred crystals or at the auction.
  • The “Freight Tractor” holds eight packs. Can be obtained by upgrading a tractor using six Vehicle Patents, which are sold in the store for one hundred crystals or at the auction.

Transport rental

Some types of transport can be rented. To do this, you will need the NPS “Supported Transport Merchant”, which is located at the home of the regional community in some locations. NPC appears only when the level of development of the regional community reaches its maximum (progress can be viewed on the map in the lower right corner).

Traders with boats can be found in the following locations:

  • Liliot Hills (western mainland)
  • Mahadebi (eastern mainland)

Traders with land vehicles can be found in the following locations:

  • Immergrun Highlands (western mainland)
  • Frost Ridge (western mainland)
  • Rainbow Sands (Eastern Mainland)
  • Tiger Ridge (eastern mainland)

Note: NPC is neutral to all factions. If there are no locations on your mainland from the list above with a maximum level of development, then you can look at the locations of the neighboring mainland.

Cruise ship

There are two scheduled ships that run between two trading posts on the western and eastern mainland every thirty minutes. The first ship travels from Solrid Peninsula to Inistra and back. The second ship travels from the Two Crowns to the Peninsula of Dawn. One way trip takes half an hour, and the ship itself stands twenty minutes at the trading post, waiting for passengers.

If you show the captain of the ship the “First Class Ticket” (sold in the shop for a thousand craft reputation) and take the bench, then no one will be able to attack the character for forty minutes if he does not move 35 meters from the center of the ship.

Notes (edit)

  • Gold, coal or alkali are sent by mail eight hours after the delivery of the pack;
  • Thiol’s patronage increases the income from the delivery of packs for gold by 5%;
  • You can find out the profit from the T2 pack at any trading post, even if there is no pack on the character’s back. The higher the percentage, the higher the delivery price.
  • When buying a pack, 75 work points are spent (45 work points at the legendary level in the “Trade” craft);
  • When the pack is returned, 175 work points are spent (105 work points at the legendary level in the trade “Trade”);
  • Each pack of the trading station has a shelf life of one hour. After the expiration of the hour, the pack becomes “supported”, and after the “spoiled”. The reward for such packs is reduced. Also, the pack can be damaged, but such packs cannot be returned.
  • When completing the family assignment “Delivery of goods from factories”, T3 pack is required. For the delivery of the pack to the family assignment, work points are not spent. Learn more about the assignment here.
  • If you destroy a ship with packs in boxes, the packs will be on the surface.
  • If you kill a player with a pack on his back in the water, the pack will fall to the bottom.
