How to recover a pixelated image in Photoshop

Now, suppose that for some reason a very important photograph for us was damaged (a family memory or a lived moment) and we do not have support of that valuable image. How could we correct that damage? In fact, repairing that prized photograph is much easier than it seems.

To perform the pixel recovery process in Photoshop, we just need to follow a series of organized steps. If we do it this way, we can once again have in our hands that transcendental memory of our life.

Step for pixel recovery

The first thing to do is run Adobe Photoshop . After doing this, we must append the image that we want to repair. An important piece of information, if the image that we want to recover is already within the Photoshop layers , we only have to make its selection in the layers tab.

After having selected our photograph, we will click on the “View” tab, then we will select the option “real pixels”. With this, we will have a broader vision of what the pixelated magnitude will be .

Once we have done this, we must go to the filters menu; being there, we will select the noise option found in the main menu. After doing this, we will select the option “Dust and scratches”. With this option, we will be able to smooth the pixel quality in the image that we want to repair.

After doing all this process, we will pay attention to the partial repair of our photography. To achieve this, we will press the Control key (Ctrl) on the keyboard, at the same time we will press the (F) key. If you find it very difficult to use the keyboard, you just have to go back to the noise filters option as before.

While there, what we will do is unravel our photography two to three times . In this way, we can remove many more imperfections in it. Then, we will select the option to clean image. It should be noted that if this option is used more than four times, the original image may begin to fade.

We will have to make a blur in the photograph . We will do this as a last resort, if any deficiencies remain. This action will help us to completely erase any misplaced pixels.

Once we have done this, we must go to the filters menu. Being there, we will select ” focus or focus mask ” and execute. With this, our work would be finished, we would only have to save our photograph and that’s it.

Of course, if you want to go back or delete a change before saving the photo, just press the control key (Ctrl) on the keyboard and at the same time the (Z) key. This command will return any unwanted action.
