In other words, it includes both the original title and the numerous DLC of all kinds that appeared later for that same Nippon Ichi production . Being exactly the same game that I already analyzed at the time, it does not seem convenient to explain the details of it in detail, so I will quickly go on to explain both its basic characteristics and its plot.
The main protagonist is the great Killia , a rather eccentric character who cries out for revenge. Yes, because the bad guy on duty, Emperor Void Dark and his troops The Lost have destroyed much of the dimensions of Netherworld , the world that hosts this production. For this reason and with the help of many other protagonists, he will try to fight this army of monsters.

On the one hand, the dialogues between the protagonists, very frequent and dense, are full of spark and on many occasions the sense of humor monopolizes all the prominence. The inconvenient? Well, the one you are imagining: the language. As with the original PS4 game, the subtitles have not been translated and it is only possible to follow the adventure in English , although it should also be noted that it is not necessary to have a very advanced level to find out what everything is about.
You will spend many hours recreating with Killia and company in this great role-playing adventure with strategic overtones.
On the other hand, another of the great qualities that the game monopolizes are the combats , which are deliciously strategic and full of possibilities. When we fight, the turn scenario is divided into grids through which we must place our units, being necessary to study each of our movements and the actions to be carried out well if we do not want to ruin each of the battles that we must undertake during the adventure. . A Tactical RPG from head to toe that will make users who enjoy the fights offered by other better-known series such as Fire Emblem very happy, without going any further.
Being able to taste games like Disgaea 5 anywhere is a privilegeBut all this that I have discussed so far plus other playable details (exploration, dimensional travel, interaction with numerous characters, etc.) that are also part of the game experience that this work offers us were already included in the original title. And what new features have been introduced? Well, the truth is that … none. At least properly so called. It is true that the adventure can be enjoyed in portable mode , a feature linked to the Nintendo Switch itself which, by the way, is another of the greatest virtues that this edition offers us. Being able to taste games like Disgaea 5 anywhere is a privilege, and more considering how good the adventure looks on the screen that this machine integrates: 720p of true TRPG glory.
Without being an excellent game in terms of graphics, it shows astonishing sharpness, especially in handheld mode.
All the additional content that appeared in the original version has also been incorporated, which is outrageous. To enjoy it, we must approach a character named Cotton who is in the central HUB, who is the one who runs the Special Content Shop . If we choose the Receive Content option we can access everything that this adventure includes, but we ask you for some calm when doing so because, among other things, a very suggestive weapon set is circumscribed ( Weapon Starter Set , which is made up of nine different weapons) , the so-called Gift of Hellconsisting of a million HL (money) to spend however we want throughout the game (as in the three new recruiting classes), etc. And if we choose to get these extras, the general difficulty of the game can be somewhat unbalanced.

It also technically looks great. The sprites have hilarious animations and tremendous expressiveness, while the settings are highly detailed and offer plenty of diversity. The sound is even better, with superb Japanese or English dubbing and an excellent soundtrack.
