If you’re like me, you’ll want to complete the game in 100%, which means flip every stone and go to every corner to make sure there aren’t any collectibles left. Well, venturing through the mines, parking and sneaking past the brutal orcs is hard enough, so we’ve got all the help you need to find these collectibles without too much stress. Chapter 2 has five collectibles, and here’s how you can get them all as you progress through the story.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum All Chapter 2 Collectible Locations
There are a total of five collectibles you can find in this chapter, and they can be tricky to find, especially since you’ll only have a few chances to get some of them before the chapter advances. Here’s how you can get them all in order:
Animal pits collection point

The first collectible you find is Borok’s Hair . This is a piece of animal hair that you need to drive back into the cages. Follow Fragile Man to the Beast Pit after talking to Mine Orc. Once you get to a large pit with a ladder leading over a fence, turn left. Opposite the stairs you will find hair on the ground.

The second collectible is a bit harder to find because you will need to navigate through the mines. You can collect it when you find all the fallen slave tokens. Descend into the mines by following ladders and climbing areas and collecting tokens as you go. Eventually you’ll take the elevator up again and then end up in a smaller cave room with a pool of lava and a large pillar in the middle.
After getting a mark here, climb the column to the top floor and exit until you return to the open mine shafts. On both sides there will be two different running walls that you can take. Go left while running along the wall where the white marks are painted and you will find the Batwing collectible.

Place to collect slave cells

The next collectible, an Old Metal Spoon , you can grab on your way back. I completely missed it my first time, so be very aware of your surroundings. After you return to your duties, you will be released and you can return to your cell. This time, the cell directly in front of yours will remain open. There is a bearded man standing inside, and in the corner you will see a spoon that you need to take. This is the only chance to get inside the cell and get the collectible, so you need to complete this before returning to your cell.
Halls of Grond Collection Location 1
The next two collectibles are further up in the chapter once you get to the Halls of Grond. They are the hardest to find as there are so many obstacles and orcs to dodge. To find the Piece of Leather , follow the path and obstacles until you reach a large wheel with barrel-shaped rods. Jump over the barrels to get to the other side, or you can jump on the barrel and run over it, but that’s more risky. You’ll want to jump onto the platform branching off to your right and the collectible will be next to the candle.

Halls of Grond Collection Location 2

The last collectible here is a Piece of Metal , not far from the skin. Keep going over obstacles until you reach a place with spinning metal wheels. Pass the first pair and you will see one upside down vertically, almost like a hamster wheel that you can actually walk on. From here jump to the wheel on your right and then wait until it is in front of the forked path shown in the image above and jump down. You can pick up the collectible and then go up the stairs to continue.
Now you have all the collectibles in chapter 2 and you can move on to the next chapter. As you progress, look for new shiny treasures.
