If you happen to get your hands on this four-star Honkai: Star Rail character, cheers for you. I haven’t had any luck yet. Tingyun is considered one of the best four-star characters due to her considerable ability to buff other members of her team. Now I’m getting ready to collect her materials. That way, when I draw it from Gacha, I can build and use it as soon as possible. If you want to do the same, here is what you need.
General Tingyun trace material in Honkai Star Rail
Tingyun uses parts of Ambrosial Arbor, which are usually dropped by Mara-stricken soldiers on Xianzhou Luofu. She will need these materials to level up her character, skill levels, and unlock her footprints. To fully unlock them all, she will need:
- 40 Immortal Scionettes
- 55 Immortal Airflowers
- 51 Immortal Lumintwig
- 40p. 55p. 51
The best way to get these materials is by fighting enemies found in Cloudford or Stargazer Nawalia Regions on Xianzhou Luofu. The higher the level of the enemies you fight, the more higher rarity materials they will drop. You can also get these materials by fighting in the Simulated Universe. Enemies are randomly generated in this game mode, and these materials cannot be relied upon to always drop.
You can also get these materials passively by completing the Pursuit of the Destiny Abomination quest . Use the Hunt Path characters in this quest to get additional materials.

Tingyun track material in Honkai Star Rail
Tingyun is the character’s Harmony , so she needs Music Box Path materials obtained from Harmony Bud Crimson Calyx. You will need to spend at least 10 Pathfinder Power to get these materials. The higher the level of the challenge you complete, the more items you will receive for spending the pioneer power.
Tingyun uses these materials to level up his skill and unlock footprints. You will need a lot of materials to fully develop her skills:
- 12 harmonic melodies
- 54 Ancestral Hymns
- 99 Stellaris Symphony
- 12p. 54p. 99
She does not need this material to ascend as a character, but be aware that any cone of light she uses will require more of these materials to ascend. The amount of materials you need depends on the rarity of the light cone.
Tingyun Character Ascension Material, Enhanced Trace, and Destiny Trace in Honkai Star Rail
To obtain the Tingyun’s Character Ascension material, you will need to farm Flash Form Trial of Stagnant Shadow. she would need 50 Past Shadow Lightning Crowns to fully ascend. Again, keep in mind that by participating in the fight against the Stagnant Shadow on the highest possible difficulty, you will receive more materials for the character’s ascension for the spent trailblazer power.
Tingyun uses Destroyer’s “Last Road” advanced trace material. It can only be obtained from Echoes of War: Beginning of Destruction . These challenges can only be completed three times per week. Tingyun will need nine Destroyer Last Roads to fully develop her skills, as well as three more to unlock her Bonus Abilities. only 12 .
All characters need 5 traces of fate to fully upgrade their skill and unlock the last two bonus abilities. These materials are almost equivalent to Genshin Impact’s Crowns of Insight, although they are much easier to obtain. How many credits do you need to fully climb Tingyun in Honkai Star Rail?
You can’t improve anything without spending a few credits each time. To fully level up any character and unlock all traces of them, you will have to spend a mind-boggling 3,098,200 credits . I can’t even imagine that I will have so many loans at once, but who knows, maybe in a year or two I will also have the same amount of savings.
If you need more credits, the quickest way to get them is from Treasure Bud Golden Cup , although it will cost Trailblaze Power. You can also earn credits by completing quests and missions, opening treasure chests, or attacking destructible objects that are updated daily.
