What are artifacts for, their classification, methods of obtaining, bonuses for sets – basic, advanced, from the Forge and the Doom Tower

Artifacts in RAID: Shadow Legends are the standard pieces of equipment that make up a set of clothing. There are six artifact slots in total – weapons, helmet, shield, gloves, armor and boots. All of them are available for any character and provide certain bonuses to various parameters. Moreover, each artifact has a main characteristic.

Armor sets (artifacts)

In addition to the standard bonuses, you will receive additional bonuses if you equip artifacts of the same set. At the same time, there are no sets of six items in the game – only two or four. That is, with a certain layout, you can get bonuses for 2 or 3 sets. Thus, you will receive two or three different bonuses at once! Another feature is that if the sets give the same bonuses (for example, they increase the attack), when they are equipped, they will be summed up.

Sets are divided into two types:

  • Basic– strengthens the basic parameters
  • Advanced– in addition to this, they impose certain effects, which, for example, can provide an additional move or increase the likelihood of activating a skill

Rarity, rank and level

As you might expect, in addition to the fact that artifacts differ in type and can be included in certain sets, they have their own rank and rarity. And the higher they are, the better the bonuses provided. Compared to standard artifacts, uncommon, rare, epic and legendary give 1-2-3-4 attributes, respectively.

The value of the primary and bonus characteristics depends on the level of the rank. By upgrading items, you will not be able to increase their rarity or rank.

As for the level, each artifact received will have a standard level 0. Use an upgrade to increase his strength. The maximum level of improvement of any artifact is 16. Each update increases the primary attribute, as well as additional parameters, or opens a new attribute. New attributes are unlocked every 4th level – at 4, 8, 12 and 16 levels. Remember that improving artifacts requires silver. And with each subsequent update, you will need a lot more silver. And the likelihood of an upgrade is reduced. That is, you could waste your silver.

How to get artifacts

There are several methods for obtaining artifacts:

  1. Campaign. Campaign artifacts are more suitable for newcomers to the game. This is what will allow you to prepare for more difficult Dungeons. These artifacts are much worse than those that can be found at the higher levels of the Dungeons. On the other hand, a certain artifact is assigned to each stage of the campaign. Thus, you can knock out those artifacts that you really need.
  2. Dungeons. You should go there after a thorough pumping of the heroes. The most powerful artifacts are hidden there. Again, different artifacts are assigned to specific Dungeons. We’ll have to collect motley squads to successfully pass the Dungeons and collect all the artifacts. But unlike the campaign, there will be a certain set of possible rewards, and specific items will drop out randomly.
  3. Market. Artifacts can be purchased from the market by spending silver. Items appear randomly. From time to time, artifacts appear on the market that otherwise can only be knocked out at higher levels of the dungeon.

All kits / sets of artifacts and bonuses

In this section, I will list all the sets of artifacts available in the game, I will indicate what bonuses they give. Let’s start with the basic ones:

  1. Life. Green heart icon. The number of items included – 2. + 15% to the base health. You can equip three of these sets, gaining + 45% health. A simple set that will be effective for characters whose abilities directly depend on the maximum HP supply.
  2. Attack. Red sword icon. The number of items included – 2. By analogy with “Life” provides 15% to the character’s attack. In three sets, you can achieve a bonus of + 45%. Suitable for any damage-focused damage-dealing hero.
  3. Protection. Icon “yellow fortress with a white heart”. The number of items in the set – 2. + 15% from one set, + 45% to protection from three identical ones. Pay attention to the heroes, whose damage depends on the parameter of protection. That is, you will not only make them more protected, but also increase the damage done.
  4. Critical chance. Two brown daggers icon. The number of items included – 2. + 12% to the chance of critical damage. A good option for any damage dealers and heroes going to battle with Bosses or other opponents with a large supply of HP. Also suitable for all characters who are able to apply additional effects when applying critical hits.
  5. Accuracy. Blue crosshair icon. The number of items in the set – 2. +40 units to accuracy. Do not ignore this moment, since accuracy is the most important attribute in battles with Bosses. The higher the accuracy, the higher the chance of hitting. And not just basic attacks, but also debuffs and buffs.
  6. Speed. Blue boot icon. The number of items in the set – 2. + 12% to the speed. Speed ​​is a parameter that determines the order of the heroes’ move. The higher the speed, the faster the progress bar will fill and the character will be able to act. An important parameter, especially in the Arena. The faster the character walks, the faster he can strengthen allies or impose a debuff on the enemy. In addition, for some heroes, speed is a parameter on which other attributes and bonuses depend. Therefore, this set is one of the most important in the game.
  7. Resistance. Yellow fist icon. The number of items in the set – 2. +40 units to resistance. A great option for characters who should never receive debuffs. Your debuffers or, for example, a healer.
  8. Critical damage. Red ax icon. The number of items included – 2. + 20% to the power of critical hits. Best solution if your damage dealers have a high critical hit rate. Ideal for champions with critical hit skills.

Now let’s dwell on the advanced sets:

  1. Stealing life. Red Jaws icon. The number of items in the kit is 4. You will regenerate 30% HP from the amount of damage inflicted. A good solution for farming, as well as heroes that are able to deal a lot more damage when losing health. If you lose health, you will deal huge damage, and at the same time heal, preventing impending death. A good option for characters who already have a bonus in the form of damage regeneration. Does not work with poison damage and skills, the effectiveness of which depends on the maximum health.
  2. Doom. Purple sparks icon. The number of items included – 4. By inflicting damage on the enemy, you are guaranteed to reduce the maximum supply of his HP by 30% of the amount of damage. Suitable in battle against champions with a high level of defense and self-healing. But there are limitations – one attack can maximally reduce to 8% of the total health of the enemy. Even if your hero will deal several hits per turn, 8% is the total, maximum value. In addition, the target’s maximum health in a battle cannot be lower than 40% of the standard health.
  3. Revenge. Green braid icon. The number of items included is 4. Each time a champion is attacked by an enemy, he has a 25% chance of a counterattack. In this case, the counterattack launches the character’s basic attack. That is, it is recommended to equip this set for characters whose basic attack really brings good benefits. These can be champions with a taunt, stun, or freeze. In addition, there is a limitation of 75% of the effectiveness of a standard skill (if activated by a counterattack). For example, if by default the hero deals 100 damage units, then in the case of a counterattack – only 75.
  4. Rage. Violet Flaming Skull Icon. The number of items included – 4. Losing health, your character increases the maximum damage. 5% for every 10% HP lost. The maximum bonus in this case will be 25%, that is, it makes no sense to lose more than 50% of HP. A great option for damage heroes and attacking tanks. That is, any characters with high damage and vitality. That is, having lost 50% HP, you can not only inflict increased damage, but also withstand an enemy attack. Suitable for characters with taunts and taunts. Any heroes guaranteed to be targeted by the enemy team.
  5. Healing. Red heart with a cross icon. Number of items included – 4. This set increases healing by 10%. We are talking about spells of healers, so the effects of “Life Steal” have nothing to do with it.
  6. Reaction. Brown shield icon. The number of items in the set is 4. With a probability of 30%, it reduces the cooldown of any skill by 1 turn. Each time the effect is triggered, a random skill is selected. Suitable for champions with powerful skills and long cooldowns. But here you can cheat. If you have passive skills and one active skill, this means that the cooldown of the active skill will decrease every time (after all, passive ones have no cooldown).
  7. Curse. Red star icon. The number of items in the set is 4. With a 50% probability, it allows the character to apply a debuff in the form of a 50% healing penalty for 1 turn. Can be triggered during an attack. A good solution for the Arena if you are opposed by a squad with a healer and support. It is best to equip a champion with AoE attacks.
  8. Poison. Blood drop yellow blade icon. The number of items in the set is 4. During an attack with a 50% probability, the hero imposes a 2.5% poisoning debuff for the next 2 turns. Suitable for fighting against enemies with a high HP pool (for example, Bosses).
  9. Ice. Snowflake icon. The number of items in the set is 4. Each time an enemy attacks, there is a 20% chance of imposing a freeze debuff for 1 turn. Yes, yes, unlike the previous debuff, this one can only work if your character is attacked by an enemy (and not vice versa). Thus, it should be equipped on all champions that are priority targets for the opponent. For example, if they use provocation or ridicule.
  10. Stupor. Yellow Zzz Icon. The number of items in the set is 4. During an attack there is a 20% chance that the sleep effect will be imposed on the opponent on the next turn. Equip champions with AoE attacks. But if the enemy takes direct damage, he will wake up. Therefore, the skill must be combined with other skills that do not cause direct damage (for example, Bomb).
  11. Immunity. Icon “red shield with white cross”. The number of items in the set is 4. At the beginning of each turn, activates a buff on the block of penalties for 2 turns. Suitable for the Arena, thanks to which you can protect your champions, who cannot receive debuffs in the form of stuns and so on.
  12. Retribution. Purple sword icon. The number of items in the set is 4. If the enemy deals a critical blow, then you will be able to counterattack with a 30% probability. Therefore, try to use artifacts on heroes with powerful standard skills, since they are activated in the event of a counterattack. But once again, I recommend that you pay attention to the fact that, unlike the “Revenge” set, here a counterattack can only work when you receive critical damage.
  13. Shield. Purple Shield Icon. At the beginning of each round, all allies receive a shield buff + 30% to maximum health for the next 3 turns. A powerful bonus that is suitable for characters with an already high HP value. You can also equip this set on multiple heroes. Imagine what the gain will be!
  14. Valor. Brown helmet icon. Number of items included – 4. Damage received from enemy AoE attacks is reduced by 30%. But only for the hero wearing the kit. Suitable in Dungeons where you need to fight powerful bosses using AoE attacks.
  15. Rabies. Blue bull head icon. The number of items included – 4. Every time the hero loses 5% of his health (as a result of an enemy attack), his turn counter increases by 10%. Suitable for healers, especially in the Arena, and especially against teams using AoE (and in the Arena, many units are imprisoned on AoE).
  16. Regeneration. Green cross with white heart icon. The number of items in the set is 4. At the beginning of his turn, the champion restores 10% of his maximum HP. Suitable for tough champions. Ideal for champions with a high defense and health value. You can add the Healing set here to get the most out of it.
  17. Stun. Green spiral icon. The number of items in the set is 4. During an attack with a probability of 18%, a stun debuff is triggered, which lasts 1 turn. Suitable for characters with AoE attacks, since in this case the chance of being stunned will be much higher. Especially if it’s multiple AoE.
  18. Ferocity. Green person icon. The number of items in the set is 4. With an 18% probability, the character gets an additional move immediately after his current one. A kit largely geared towards luck. But if you’re lucky enough to be able to make an extra move, especially with some strong character, it can turn the fight upside down. Add in the skills that provide additional moves, and you become invincible.
  19. Cruelty. Three red lines / scratches icon. The number of items in the set is 4. Each time you attack, you ignore 25% of the target’s defense. The effect stacks with other similar bonuses. Suitable for damage dealers, especially if they are opposed by a target with a high level of defense.
  20. Mockery. Red lightning bolt icon. The number of items in the set is 4. Each time during an attack, the champion has a 30% chance to apply the Taunt debuff. Suitable for characters imprisoned on taking damage (with high survivability). Especially if taking damage directly affects the power of future attacks.
  21. Horror. Orange Demon Head Icon. Number of items included – 2. These artifacts can be knocked out of the boss of the Demon Lord. + 15% attack and 5% ignore target defense. That is, your attacks are amplified by themselves, as well as due to the fact that you ignore the enemy’s armor.
  22. Immortality. Green demonic head icon. Number of items included – 2. These artifacts can be knocked out of the Demon Lord boss. + 15% to the reserve of health, as well as healing 3% each turn of the character.
  23. Heavenly life. Blue shield icon. The number of items in the set – 2. Drops from the chests in the Arena. + 15% health and increased shield by 15% of current health for 3 turns.
  24. Heavenly attack. Purple bear icon. The number of items in the set – 2. Drops from the chests in the Arena. + 15% attack and increased shield by 15% of current health for 3 turns.
  25. Heavenly Critical Chance. Red Skull Icon. The number of items in the set – 2. Drops from the chests in the Arena. + 12% to critical chance and increased shield by 15% of current health for 3 turns.
  26. Heavenly speed. Green leaf icon. The number of items in the set – 2. Drops from the chests in the Arena. + 12% to speed and increased shield by 15% of current health for 3 turns.

Finally, there are several sets you can get from the Forge and Tower of Doom:

  1. Vitality. Green armor icon. The number of items included – 2. + 10% health and protection. Balanced set aimed at increasing survivability.
  2. Promptness. Red thorns icon. The number of items included – 2. +40 to accuracy and 5% to speed. You will be able to move faster and impose fines.
  3. Reflection. Shrapnel green shield icon. The number of items included – 4. + 20% health and protection. The applied debuff can be reflected back to the enemy with a 25% chance.
  4. Parry. Purple Shuriken Icon. The number of items included – 4. + 18% to speed and 30% to the chance of critical damage. In the event of a killing blow, there is a 50% chance of being invulnerable. It works only 1 time per round.

Forge

  1. Lethality. Orange dragon muzzle icon. The number of items included – 2. + 15% to attack and + 5% to the chance of critical damage.
  2. Stubbornness. Red dagger in a circle icon. Number of items included – 4. + 30% to critical damage and 20% chance that a weak hit will become critical.
  3. Chills. Blue thorns icon. The number of items included – 2. + 15% chance to block freezing and 10% chance that the attacker will be frozen.
  4. Intactness. Brown claw icon. The number of items in the set is 4. +40 to resistance and immunity for 2 turns. That is, for two turns, a block of penalties is in effect, and no one can impose debuffs on your champion. A particularly useful set for the Arena. Resistance guarantees the fact that it will not work just like that to remove the block of fines. That is, you are guaranteed to use it for 2 turns.
