Where to begin. The best place to build
To begin with, you should choose one of the four zones for resurrection.
The city is perhaps the best place for a beginner. There are few aggressive creatures here, and what is, is not too dangerous. Enforcers and defensive bots will not attack you until you are in the saddle of creatures. But, by themselves, they are not very strong.
The city has everything you need to start the game, and since the biome is in the center of the map, it will be easier for you to get to other places. Plus, it never gets dark here.
Another good place to build is an underground forest . It is quite safe here – there are very few dangerous predators, there are the necessary resources, there is no night. But, the main disadvantage of the biome is the absence of flying transport creatures. And moving on land to other biomes through wastelands is very dangerous due to various aggressive creatures such as rippers, wyverns and giganotosaurs.
Desert and snow biomes are the most annoying biomes for base building. There are many dangerous creatures here, there are climatic debuffs. At the same time, it gets dark here at night, which complicates development.
Further text will be based on the fact that you settled in the city. To begin with, find a base near water to grow vegetables and quickly replenish your thirst. Next, start building the base – either build a large room (or two), or enclose the area. This must be done so that protective bots do not kill your creatures.
Next, tame one of the initial creatures. For example, a parasaurus for picking berries is a good choice. For the production of eggs – dodo and dilo. At least one male and one female. Maximum – five females per male. Dodo eggs are needed to craft pteranodon food, and Dilo eggs are used to craft Dedicurus.
The Pteranodon will be the next essential creature, as the ability to fly will allow you to explore the entire map and extract rare resources. Tame it at a time when there is very little left before opening the saddle recipe.
Pteranodon
If you have dodo egg food, then feel free to tame the highest-level pteranodon so that it has a decent weight and stamina value. We also recommend taming the Argentavis, as eagles are good at carrying various creatures. You can tame them with regular or premium meat. It is not worth taming a high-level one, since besides carrying it, it is unlikely to be needed anywhere else.
Next, you need to tame the following creatures useful in collecting resources – castoroides (beaver) and deedicurus. Beavers can be found in the city, and Dedicurus can be dragged from the desert biome with the help of Argentavis.
Castoroides
If you do not want to suffer with the creation of the necessary food, tame not too large – level 30-60. So they will be good at collecting wood and stone. But for the greatest efficiency, you will have to create the necessary feed, otherwise the domestication will drag on for several hours.
Dedicurus
By the way, immediately prepare a small stone enclosure-trap, where you can throw off the beaver and the deedicurus with the help of the eagle, since it is dangerous to leave them in an empty area due to protective bots.
Once you’ve done everything you need to do, you’ll have a solid base to research the expansion. Now let’s talk about new creatures.
New creatures
Snow Owl
Located in the snow biome, where it hunts the surrounding creatures. It is a strong and resilient flying creature capable of carrying medium weight. It has good speed, and if you fly downward at acceleration, it can dive like a griffin, increasing its speed for a short time.
Also has infrared vision. It can freeze and heal itself, but if it hits another creature, it will freeze it and heal. If it rushes to the ground while diving, the owl will damage the surrounding creatures.
Gasbags
A huge caterpillar-like creature. Dwells in the wastelands. It is able to draw in air and becomes stronger. Can release air to repel other creatures, or leap long distances. Another distinctive feature of gasbags is that they can carry huge weight, and they also have a good supply of health.
Gacha
A large creature with an unusual ability to absorb various objects and resources. Then, through excrement, the player can get something else from resources and items. It also has good combat characteristics and can carry average weight.
He can also extract wood and stone, and these resources in his inventory weigh less. It is also unusual to tame the gacha – you should throw various resources next to it that it will eat. One of the best options for taming is Element dust.
Velonasaur
A medium-sized creature capable of shooting spikes, making opponents feel fearful. Decent characteristics and the ability to shoot make him a good and unique fighter.
Enforcer
The enforcer seems peaceful only at first glance, but it will attack you if you are in the saddle of a tamed predator. The key feature of the robot is that it is not tamed, but created. The recipe is knocked out from a wild enforcer. Also, you can knock out the following resources from it: element dust, oil, scrap metal and electronics.
Managarmr
It lives in the winter biome, where it hunts everyone. Large and strong predator. Able to jump long distances and shoot the victim with freezing balls. Also can carry more than one player.
Titans (Title)
Unique tameable mini-bosses with huge dimensions and very high combat characteristics. There are four types of titans in total: ice, forest, air and the king of the titans. The latter is supposedly the main boss of the game.
Titans are tamed for only five days, after which they disappear. However, you cannot tame more than one titan. Also, killing titans is necessary to unlock the dlc boss.
Where to find the necessary resources
Wood and stone are abundant anywhere on the map. Iron is less common throughout the map. Sometimes it is mined from stone.
Oil is easiest to knock out of enforcers. It can also be found in small quantities in the wasteland, like the Bsidian .
Dust element (Element Dust) can be knocked out and scattered Enforcer city lampposts. By the way, crystals and electronics are mined from the latter . Crystals can also be found from deposits throughout the map.
Lamb is knocked out of the ovises in the snow biome. Cement paste is found in beaver dams. By the way, there are a lot of them in the underground forest.
Chitin is obtained from spiders in the city or scorpions in the desert biome.
