Reset the PS4 Joypad
First turn off your console. The Reset button is located in a small hole in the back of the Controller, next to the L2 button . It is advisable to use a paper clip to push the Reset button, holding it down for a few seconds will be enough to reset the Joypad.
Once this is done, in the next step re-pair the controller to the device, connecting the Joypad via the supplied USB cable and turning the PS4 back on. Follow the pairing procedure by clicking the PS button on the controller and you can continue to have fun playing with your PlayStation 4.
