Let’s see how to remove the gel step by step:
- To start you have to file the gel layer without going too deep, because you risk ruining your nail.
- After filing the nail you have to wet a cotton pad with the specific solvent , make the cotton stick to the gel, cover it with aluminum foil and wait 10 minutes .
- After waiting the necessary time, you can proceed with the removal of the enamel.
Some prefer to put the solvent in a container large enough to put their hands on for another 10 minutes and then proceed with the elimination of the gel through a wooden stick .
Remove the gel without a bur
Removing the gel at home means working without a bur. What do you need? A few files, cotton discs, tinfoil, solvent. First you need to file the surface with two files, a 100/150 grit and a less hard one, until you reach a minimum layer of gel before the actual nail. In summary, you must not nick the nail and rub it.
