How to Recover Deleted Files on Android with DiskDigger

Previously Androbuntu had discussed the 12 best applications to restore files on Android .

Well, in that article one of the applications we recommend is DiskDigger.

DiskDigger is available for both Android and PC.

But this time I will give a tutorial on how to use DiskDigger to restore files , photos and videos on an Android phone.

For those of you who happen to accidentally delete files from your cellphone, you can follow the method below.

Or have you accidentally factory reset so that you delete all files , you can also try this method.

One more thing, DiskDigger on Android works in two modes. Namely with root and non- root mode .

If your phone is rooted , then more files can be restored.

On the other hand, if your phone is not rooted , then there are not many files that can be restored.

The tutorial below I wrote using a phone that has not been rooted .

How to Use DiskDigger to Recover Deleted Files on Android

The DiskDigger app is available for download on the Google Play Store. Please download it first if you haven’t downloaded it, or you can click the button below:

Then if the DiskDigger application is already installed on your Androbuntu friend’s Android phone, follow the steps below:

1. Open the application on DiskDigger, directly click the START BASIC PHOTO SCANbutton .
2. DiskDigger will then ask for permission to access filesand media. Click the ALLOWbutton .
3. After that, DiskDigger will immediately scan and display previously deleted photos and videos.
4. The length of the scanning process usually depends on the number of filesthat can be recovered. The more, the longer it will take. When finished, there will be a pop up that says Scan completed .
5. Then please select the fileyou want to restore. You can select multiple filesat once if you want. Then click RECOVERY . Then select Save the file…
6. Please select the folder where you want to save all the filesto be restored. Click OKto continue.
7. Then click OKagain to save all the filesthat have been deleted earlier.
8. Save.
