How To Make Instagram Stories Background Black

How To Make Instagram Stories Background Black. Instagram’s features may have evolved, but here’s a step-by-step guide on how you might create an Instagram Story with a black background using a photo editing app:

How To Make Instagram Stories Background Black

Step 1: Prepare Your Content

  1. Open a photo editing app on your phone or computer. Apps like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or even Instagram’s own “Layout” app can work.

Step 2: Create a Black Background 2. Create a new project or canvas with the dimensions suitable for Instagram Stories. For instance, Instagram Stories typically have a resolution of 1080 pixels wide by 1920 pixels tall.

  1. Fill the canvas with a solid black color. Most photo editing apps have a paint bucket or fill tool that you can use to apply the black color.

Step 3: Add Your Content 4. Add text, stickers, drawings, or any other elements you want on top of the black background. Customize the design to your liking.

Step 4: Save Your Image 5. Once you’re satisfied with your design, save the image to your device’s photo gallery. Make sure to save it with a format and quality that maintains its clarity when uploaded to Instagram.

Step 5: Post on Instagram 6. Open your Instagram app and swipe right from your feed or tap your profile picture in the top-left corner to access your Story camera.

  1. Swipe up or tap the camera roll icon to select an image from your device’s photo gallery.
  2. Choose the image you created with the black background.

Step 6: Add Additional Elements (Optional) 9. If desired, you can further enhance your Story using Instagram’s built-in tools. You can add text, GIFs, stickers, polls, music, and more.

  1. Once you’ve customized your Story to your liking, tap the “Your Story” button to publish it.

Step 7: View Your Story 11. Your Story with the black background and added elements will now be visible to your followers for the next 24 hours. You can also choose to highlight it in your profile if you want it to be available for longer.

Please note that Instagram’s features and interface may have changed since my last update in September 2021. If there have been any updates or changes to the process, I recommend referring to Instagram’s official help center or resources for the most accurate and up-to-date instructions.
