The Cenotaph skin was introduced in Season of the Deep, and despite being on par with some of the uglier Exotics in the game, it’s a true team player’s dream. How to get the Cenotaph skin in Destiny 2

The Cenotaph skin can only be obtained one way, by completing only the Legendary and Master Lost Sectors which rotate every day in Destiny 2. If you check the map in the Destiny menu, you will be able to see a small Lost Sector icon on one of the rentals. This is where the Lost Sector is located, and it will rotate every day in the daily update at 10am PT. Please note that you will need to have finished the standard version of the Lost Sector to gain access to the Legendary and Master versions.
What makes this so difficult is the fact that you need to be alone and the fact that the power levels are quite high.
- Legend – 1830 Power
- Master – 1840 Power
Lost Sector will be full of champion enemies that are difficult to deal with, and if you’re too underpowered, you’ll be sliced and diced by even the most basic enemy. Before you smash your face into a hard Lost Sector, it’s worth grinding a couple of power points through your artifact. You’ll be surprised at how much of a difference it will make to your experience.
If you manage to finish the Legend or Master Lost sector, you will have a chance to get an exotic drop from the feature loot pool. To examine the loot, hover over the Legendary Lost Secotr icon on the map and look at the bottom, where it will tell you if the reward is for Head, Arms, Legs, or Chest Armor.
For the Cenotaph Mask, you want to run the Lost Sector on a day when the reward is for Head Armor.
What does the cenotaph mask do?
The Cenotaph comes with a perk called High Priority. This means that he constantly reloads a portion of the magazine of his equipped Trace Rifles from reserves. Damaging a vehicle, boss, or champion with a trace rifle marks them as a target. When an ally defeats the marked target, he spawns special ammo for you and heavy ammo for your allies.
This makes it a great choice for the Well + Divinity build that is a staple in so many raids. You can fuel up with special ammo and heavy ammo for your team, and you’ll never need to reload your Divinity while helping everyone else do more damage.
How to deal with champions
There are three different types of champions. Overloads are the most difficult to treat. These amped up guys heal up fast, take a lot more damage, and dish out a lot of their own. You need to stun them to damage them.
Barriers will take damage as normal, but will then drop a barrier that will protect them while they heal. You need to break the barrier with the right weapon or ability to prevent this from happening and stun them.
Hits are annoying as they will run you over, but the right skill or weapon can ironically stop them in their tracks and make them easy to hit. They also don’t heal, so fighting them is never on a timer.
Below you will find a full list of what will damage each type of Champion.
- Barrier: Solar radiation effects, crumble rounds, volatile weapon rounds, gear with Pierce traits, or the correct seasonal artifact weapon + mod combo.
- Unstoppable – Arc Blind effects, Solar Power Up, Stasis Destroy, Filament Suspension, gear with Unstoppable traits, or the right combination of Weapon + Seasonal Artifact mod.
- Overload: Arc Jolt effects, Stasis Slow, Void Suppression, or gear with the Overload trait, and once again, the correct seasonal artifact weapon + mod combo.
