With Windows 10 build 21313 , Microsoft released a new and updated battery management page in Windows 10 Settings , but it is currently hidden. Let’s see how to force it to be enabled.
The new Battery page in Windows 10 Settings
We told you about the new battery page interface in Windows 10 Settings for a few weeks already , but now you can actually enable it on your PC if you have installed the latest build released on the Dev channel. The new Battery page shows information more clearly than the old design and adds the new Usage Information section , which allows you to switch between the battery level history in the last 24 hours and a view of the PC usage hours in the last 7 days.
It is also possible to have information on the hours of active screen and screen off , the averages of the last week and, by clicking on a particular day or time, even more detailed information will be shown . Finally, apps and services that used up battery can now be sorted by:
- Overall use
- Active use
- Background
- First name
