Turning on Twitch’s two-step authentication is really easy, then we show you in a few steps
- The first of all will be to enter our Twitch account.
- Now the next step will be to access the account settings, for this we will have to click on the icon of our profile image .
- Next, we will click on “Settings”.
- Once inside the configuration section of our Twitch account, we will have to locate the “Security and privacy” tab.
- In this new window we will have to locate the specific section to activate two-step authentication .
- Now we just have to click on “Enable two-step authentication”.
- In the next step we will have to locate the telephone prefix of our country and put our telephone number.
- We will receive a code on our mobile that we will have to enter at the bottom of the computer window.
- Now Twitch offers us to further increase security and use an authentication application, in our case we use Google Authenticator.
- On the mobile we locate the Authenticator app and click on the button with the plus symbol (+).
- Now in “Scan QR code”.
- We scan the QR that Twitch provides us and we enter the code that the app gives us, remember that you have a few seconds until the blue clock of the app runs out and restart the codes.
Once all the steps are finished, Twitch gives us a series of emoticons to use in the chats of the visualizations that we want.
