How to disable read receipt in WhatsApp

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DISABLE THE READING CONFIRMATION?

If you deactivate the read receipt – following the instructions below – the double blue check will NO longer appear in your conversations , not even in the messages you send: in fact, neither you nor the person with whom you are communicating will have the “visual” confirmation of the reading of the messages (the double check will always remain gray).

The first in the world to have the ability to disable the double blue check were Android users who downloaded versions from 2.11.476 and later , who added the option to disable the function.

  • Deselect “Read receipts” or “Read receipts”
