Where are the Reels that you send to the draft stored?

Instagram has presented a new way to satisfy all its users, adding to its functions, a dynamic section where people can share their videos on any topic, either for humor or simply to share their day to day. A section that everyone enjoys in its entirety.

The Instagram Reels arrived to show the beginning of a new era of interaction in the social network . Every day, millions of users download and upload Instagram Reels showing their creativity in different ways, many of them becoming viral and making the use of this function of the app more constant.

However, it is very common to find the situation where one of these Reels does not turn out to be as good as expected, therefore there is the option to save these videos in the drafts , so that the creator of this one can decide whether to upload them or not. No. As well as there is the option to  save them without putting them in drafts .

When making a Reel and saving it in drafts, it is not difficult at all to find the place where they are saved. Well, these are right in the space where the Reels of your profile are . By clicking on the section where the Reels are, you will see the drafts section. If you want to remove them, do the following:

  • – Enter the drafts section.
  • – Click on ‘select’.
  • – Mark the Reel to be deleted.
  • – Click on ‘discard’followed by confirm.

Once these steps have been completed, the Reel that was deleted will no longer be in the Reels section of the profile, and only the Reels that have already been published will appear in this section. It will be up to the owner of the profile if he wants to make the Reel again to be able to continue uploading his content to the social network.

How long can erasers stay there?

Fortunately, and for the benefit of users, Reel drafts do not have a time limit . Every time a draft is saved it stays in the drafts section until it is uploaded or until it is deleted. Therefore, it will not be instantly deleted at any time.

This means that the time that the Instagram Reels remain in the drafts depends entirely on the user, who is in control of what to do with the saved clips, keeping them stored in the drafts section for as long as they want.

What is the way to recover a deleted Reel?

It is definitely very common among Instagram users the situation where a draft of a Reel or post is accidentally deleted . And there is even the case that the user regrets deleting that draft. Fortunately, Instagram has the  option to recover it.

For any case of deletion of a draft, they go directly to the trash. Unlike the drafts section, the trash can has a time limit of 30 days, where the files that are there will be deleted after that time has expired. To recover these Reels or publications, the following must be done:

  • – Access the profile.
  • – Go to settings.
  • – Select ‘account tool‘.
  • – Click the Recently Deleted folder.
  • – Select the files you want to recover.

It should be noted that if the Reel, post or IGTV video you want to recover is not in the Recently Deleted folder , these have already been permanently removed for exceeding the 30-day period, therefore the file can no longer be recovered. .
