- Log in to the Zoom website as an administrator , you must have the privilege to edit the account settings, since you must enter this section of your profile.
- Go to the Small Group Rooms menu found within the Meeting tab and you must make sure that this option is enabled. In case you need to activate it, click on the status bar to do so, there should appear a dialog box in which you must click on the Activate option.
Rooms for specific groups
If you want to create a room for a specific group, you must follow the following steps:
- Log into your Zoom account session as administrator through the website, remember that you must have the privilege to edit User Groups and there go to the Group Administration menu.
- Click on the name of the group and then go to the Settings tab. Once there, you must enter the option Rooms for small groups located in the Meeting tab and you must verify that the option is enabled.
- In case the option is not available, you must carry out the procedure through the status bar, when the dialog box appears to verify, choose the Activate option .
In this case, if the option appears blocked and in gray, you must go to the account level to be able to modify the permission. To do this, you must execute the step explained in the method at the beginning of this guide.
How to Create Small Group Rooms – End User
Finally, if you want to create rooms for small groups for personal use, you must follow the following procedure, which is as simple as the other options explained:
- You must go to the Zoom website and log in as an account manager or as an account member. Select the Settings menu of my meeting and then enter the option Small group rooms located in the Meeting tab, there you must check again if the option is enabled.
- If you need to enable it, you must enter the status bar to activate it, again you will see the dialog box with the Activate button available, which you must choose.
In this case, if the option is blocked, to create rooms in a Zoom video call you must then verify the permissions at the Account or Group level, for this you must then contact the Zoom administrator in case you do not have those permissions.
