The additional lines allow us to have a more affordable price with the advantages of having more gigabytes or additional calls. They are ideal for couples, for families, for members of a company or for any circumstance in which you do not mind sharing a holder and each have their own number. If, for example, you have two phones. Be that as it may, these are the additional Telecable lines, their prices, their advantages and how you can hire them.
Telecable is an operator that is part of the Euskaltel Group and that operates, above all, in Asturias. But its mobile coverage is available in practically all of Spain and you may want to try hiring additional lines with Telecable. So you can do it from the configurator of your website.
What are additional lines?
The additional lines allow us to have an ‘extra’ phone number associated with our Fibra + Móvil plan and, generally, we can get a better price. The additional lines of Telecable and of any operator must be associated with the same account holder . You pay a joint price for the contracted package that can be Fiber + main line (or fiber and television and telephone) and a series of additional lines that you can get at a discount.
You should bear in mind that the conditions change if the additional lines are for a Fiber + mobile and TV package or if you are simply going to add additional Telecable lines to a main mobile line that you have contracted.
Requirements and conditions
Telecable allows us to add up to four additional lines in the rate configurator if we are going to add them. Four additional lines for each contracted convergent rate package. That is, you can hire the Internet (choose between 200 Mb or 500 Mb), you can hire an additional line with 30 GB or 50 GB , you can add landlines and you can add a television package. And, in addition, you can add up to four additional lines.
In the case of additional lines to a mobile line, we can only contract two extra lines. One main line and two additional lines.
They all meet the same requirement: they must be associated with the same owner. Each one has its own rate, its gigs or minutes, but all of them are added to a set price that you pay every month when the operator’s invoice arrives. They all have different phone numbers but only one “owner” of the lines.
Prices of additional lines
As we have said before, these additional lines have a different price than if you hire a mobile-only rate, with advantages over the usual price. Also, you have to bear in mind that the maximum number of additional lines is four for each convergent pack but each of them will work independently. That is, you do not have to choose the same rate in all the ones you add. The prices are:
- 15 GB + unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles for 10 euros per month
- 30 GB + unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles for 16 euros per month
- 50 GB + unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles for 20 euros per month
All the lines, as in the case of the main Telecable lines, allow you two options when the contracted gigs are spent month by month: you can continue browsing at maximum speed with an automatic bonus of 1 GB for 5 euros (maximum you can activate three bonuses per month) or you can navigate more slowly at no cost. You choose what you prefer according to what you want to pay more and go faster or settle for a more limited speed without adding extra charges to the bill.
Price of additional lines on mobile
If you are going to have additional Telecable lines to a mobile line (you do not have Internet or landline or television) the maximum you can hire is two. The prices are the same but there are fewer options available that we can contract. That is to say:
- 15 GB + unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles for 10 euros per month
- 30 GB + unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles for 16 euros per month
You can add several combining them as you want. That is, you can add a 15 GB line, another 30 GB and two 50 GB or you can simply add one of 30. You do not have to have a minimum of four although it is the maximum (in the case of mobile phones we can only have two extras) They will adapt to what you want and need.
Hire
When setting up your rate in Telecable we can hire additional lines when creating the package from the website or by phone when you contact the operator to request information or to confirm the registration of the line. From the web we can configure the rate as we want to know all the options, price.
Open the Telecable website and at the top, tap on the two options:
- You choose (Fiber, mobile, Internet)
- Mobile only (with unlimited calls
Choose the option you want depending on whether you need to configure a convergent package or if you only want a mobile line. In the first option, we will open the configurator to create our offer choosing between all the options:
- Add Internet (200 Mb or 500 Mb for 40 or 43 euros respectively)
- Add a mobile line (30 GB or 50 GB for 11 or 15 euros)
- Add landline (For 6 euros with calls to landlines and mobiles)
- Add some television option (Leisure TV, Leisure TV + and Total TV)
- Add if you want Netflix + 10 extra GB for 8 euros per month
In the second section, we will find the mobile lines. Under the one you have chosen, as you can see in the screenshot below, you will find “Add additional line” along with a “+” symbol . You can tap here up to four times. Each time you tap, an additional Telecable line will be added to the package you configure.
In each one you add, you can choose between the three available options. When you’re done, you just have to go to the right side of the screen and choose “Yes, I want it.” Here you will see the price of the package or the offers applied. Tap on the “Yes, I want it” button and write your phone number to contract and follow the steps that the Telecable website will indicate.
The same steps will be taken if we simply want a “Mobile Only” rate. Choose this option in the menu, tap on “+ Add additional line” and choose if you want 15 GB or 30 GB in each of the rates. Once you have it, choose “Yes, I want it.”
