We have returned! This time we’ll talk about how to attack on the Train map . It may seem daunting at first, but by using smoke before attacking you can win a few rounds. There are several reasons why smoke is so important in Train. Firstly, because of the long distances, AWP owners can easily kill you when you step forward. Secondly, it will help you plant the bomb. If the commandos do not go up the trains and pass through the smoke, they cannot know how many terrorists are left.
Pay attention to how the bomb sites are exploded, and also to the fact that if you want to effectively rotate, you need to take control of the staircase room. Usually, these rotations are so obvious that the commandos will be able to get to you much earlier than you expect. Success is more likely to be achieved by following a pre-planned strategy and heading to one of the bomb sites after collecting enough information and possibly one or more kills.
Smoke at point A
Throw one smoke grenade between the connector and the bomb train
Let’s discuss the smoke tactics of point A. There are some very useful smoke grenades on the outside of the station.
The first smoke grenade will cover the area between the connector and the bomb train to make it easier for the terrorist to attack the staircase room without being killed. The second grenade will smoke the area between the brown train and the bomb train to make the last part of the bomb route more convenient.
It’s also worth getting smoke on either side of the blue train.
If you use all the smoke grenades available, success is almost guaranteed, but there are some problems. The point is that counter terrorists will be able to try a retake with five live players and you won’t have any leftover grenades. Of all the smoke grenades, the least important is the one to the left of the blue train – it doesn’t help you get the bomb where you want it. However, the smoke will make it less likely that CT scans will attack you. If you don’t want to use this grenade, you can look into the alley with the AWP instead.
After you have planted the bomb, communication is very important. Make sure the room with the stairs is under control. I don’t even know how many times we lost because of poor communication. Especially if the player who is supposed to control the staircase died.
Point B attack
Smoke the bottom for your own safety
Like point A, smoke grenades are very important for capture. The first grenade is simple. Smoke down so that the snipers in the distance could not shoot at you. It’s also a good idea to throw a flash grenade in case the SWAT is waiting for you on the roof of the lower train.
The next smoke grenade will make your way to the bomb site easier. Aim carefully and throw the grenade at the right moment to hit the enemy trying to smoke below, then attack.
The third smoke grenade is above. The main purpose, as with any other grenades, is to avoid getting killed by distant opponents. After the territory is smoky, you can help your allies, not concealing enemies, sneak up to them while they plant the bomb.
Remember that the whole team does not need to go to the place of planting the bomb. This will only complicate further retreat. I recommend leaving one player behind so you can be aware of any CTs heading behind you.
Take your time
Molotov is a powerful one-on-one weapon
Because of the way Train is structured, you will have plenty of time to decide which point to attack. Until the final push, you are strongly separated from the SWAT team. This allows you to split up and try to kill as many opponents as possible. Watch the strategy of your opponents and use this information to your advantage.
Try to keep track of what they bought in the previous round and how much they lost, won, and how many of their players survived to see if they would buy powerful weapons. This may sound daunting to beginners, but it is very important. If they play an eco round, they will take more risks and you should be careful. For example, if you are playing against an eco team and you don’t gather enough information before attacking, you can run into an area with five opponents at once, and because of your own smoke grenades, you will not realize this until it’s too late.

Molotov is a powerful one-on-one weapon. With the help of the Molotov, you can delay the commandos from the bomb for a few extra seconds.
