How to solve the jewels puzzle in the subway monument?
Once we start our adventure in Resident Evil 3 Remake, just before leaving the subway station, in the safe room of the Redstone Street subway we will find a strange object with 3 holes. On the map it appears as “Monument” , but here we are going to call it ” Puzzle of the jewels ” as many will surely call it.
To solve this riddle first, you will have to get 3 colored jewels , a series of key objects that will have to be found and searched on the map in order to solve this puzzle and get the rewards it hides.

Where are the red jewel, the blue jewel and the green jewel?
- Red jewel: we will meet her in the safe room of Moon’s Donuts, the donut shop down the stairs on Redstone Street. Examine the Decorated Chest that you find to find it. This gem cannot be found in Nightmare Mode or Hell.
- Blue Gem – It‘s on Redstone Street, on the left side of Main Street, there’s a building with a red top where it says “Supermarket.” Wait until you get the lock cutter or chain cutter to open the door, inside there will be another Chest adorned with this jewel inside.
- Greengem : again, on Redstone Street, at Raccon Toys. It’s the blue building on the same street as the Supermarket. Enter through the southeast corner when you have the Lock Pick and you will find another Decorated Chest. You will not be able to access until you find the pick
When you return to the subway and place the jewels in their corresponding holes in the monument puzzle, you will get the following rewards:
- Tactical stock (Shotgun).
- A hand grenade.
- A fanny pack.
By completing this puzzle, we will also unlock the merit: power gems, with which we will get 600P to spend in the game store once we finish it and an illustration as a reward.
Where are the jewels in nightmare and hell?
In Nightmare and Hell difficulty , the location of the jewels is different . You will find the Blue Jewel in the southwest alley , behind the Donut Shop, and the Green Jewel in the Pharmacy . The Red Jewel will be next to one of the switches in the electrical substation , where the Deimos come out.
- The green jewel in a nightmare:we will find it in the pharmacy.
- The blue jewel in nightmare:we will find it in the southwest cul-de-sac, behind the Donut Shop,
- The red jewel in a nightmare:next to one of the substation switches.
