Everything you need to know about the new Rainbow Six Siege event, Grand Theft

The Grand Larceny event has started in Rainbow Six Siege , giving you the opportunity to play a new game mode and get some new cosmetics. The event will run from May 5 to May 19, giving you two full weeks to have everything you want from the event.

Can you play as all operators?

No. Most of the operators will be unlocked to play in this event, but some of them have been disabled due to balance issues.

What will you do

The event features a new Stolen Items mode, where two teams face off to battle for special safes on the level. That objective is the only objective in the game, and there are no hostages, bombs, or areas to secure. The Preparation Phase is gone too, so you jump right into the action and the attackers won’t have the use of drones.

The games take place on a special version of the Hereford map, and the defenders will have to protect the cases, while the attacks will have to eliminate the defenders or open some of the randomly located safes. The safes will be marked so you don’t need to try to track them down, and some map changes will open up new creative routes and angels of fire.

Event rewards

There is a new Grand Larceny collection with 31 items, with exclusive customization for Amaru, Fuze, Gridlock, Hibana, Maverick, Echo, Maestro, Kaid, Wamai and Warden. The Grand Larceny Pack can be obtained by completing Special Event Challenges, or by purchasing them for 300 R6 Credits or 12,500 Renown each. Also in play is the Roaring Riches bundle, containing the Deco Artistry signature weapon skin and the Crafted Six charm.
