Secret Medallion of the Hieratic Tree: what is it and how to find it?
This medallion allows you to use Rold’s Great Elevator to change its direction and reach the last area you haven’t visited yet: the northern edge of the snowy region. It is a place that, in turn, it is necessary to go through in order to find the final bosses that you have left to defeat. The problem is that the medallion is broken into two parts , so join us once again, because we are going to help you quickly collect them.

You just have to open the Liurnia map and locate the Albináurica Village . Look at the next location that we indicate on the map: there is an NPC in the shape of a giant jar stuck in the ground. If you help him by hitting him on his back (or butt), he will be able to surface and give you the right part of the Secret Medallion . In addition, he will tell you about a woman who knows where the other half is, although we are not going to need it because we already know everything there is to know.

Do you remember the journey to the Forbidden Lands you took when we guided you to the Forge of Giants ? For to the north of that place is the Castle of Sól, the hideout of Commander Niall . It is your goal, because what you seek is at the top of its strength. Since you’ve already been here, travel to any nearby Gracia and locate the castle on the map below .
It’s a small area, similar to any other fort you’ll find exploring, though it’s packed with wraith knights who can give you a bit of a fight. The ones that carry a shield are affordable, but you must be especially careful with those that carry two swords , especially with the frozen tornado that they cause, since they usually accompany it with a dangerous combo. In any case, the castle is small and you can immediately activate a Grace on the door, before entering its interior.
Inside, watch out for the giant dogs in the courtyard, they are quite tough. Once defeated, at the bottom go up some stairs. At the top, your objective is the door with burning torches at the bottom, although along the way you will see several dogs (of the small ones) and an eagle. Inside you will go up other stairs and when you go outside you must cross a bridge, paying attention to the spectral knights that appear.
In the background there is another building and inside, a Grace in the room on the left. Straight ahead in that same corridor, a chapel with an exit to the left: it is a room with several hidden enemies (three below and several knights above). We strongly recommend that you run forward , because there are too many of them and right in front of you is the boss’s yellow mist. Don’t risk coming into battle after taking damage or consuming vials of health.

Where to use the Secret Medallion?
Just go back to Rold’s Great Elevator , which you already passed through to access the Forbidden Lands when you searched for the Forge of Giants . The difference is that now you can interact in a different way , pressing left or right on the D-pad until you see the option to use the Secret Medallion. Doing so will open the way to a new area.
You will enter a kind of dungeon, although really you just have to turn left, defeat a giant slug and you will be officially in the northern part of the map. At the beginning you will see a dense fog; follow the lights on the ground and when you see the last one, run the horse in a straight line until the fog clears .
