Farum Azula, the Ruined City
Right after accepting Melina’s proposal at the Forge of Giants, you will appear in Farum Azula, the Ruined City . After being impressed by this place, walk straight across the bridge and drop down the destroyed part on the right. Then go down the ladder on the left and you will see several werewolves. If you are careful you can kill some in stealth, but think that one of them patrols the area and could see you. When you manage to finish the group, at the bottom left is the first Grace of the area.
Go through the corridor to the left of Grace’s room, lean out and look at that kind of bridge: a white dragon will appear capable of killing you in an instant, if you kill it it will drop an Ancient Dragon Forging Stone, but surely in this point is too hard to finish him off, so don’t forget his location and run away from him for now and continue to the bottom of the bridge to enter from the left (watch out for the wolves), through those balconies and activate a Grace.
Enter the great hall where several more wolves await you; you have to cross it and go outside until you see another Grace. You will see a series of ruined structures floating in the air and in one of them there is another dragon perched on it. You must go to him, but not with the objective of fighting, but to locate a huge hole in the ground through which to drop.
Continue straight down a couple of stairs and you’ll be in a room with a couple of knights. They’re pretty tough and you’re not interested in fighting two at once, so you’ll see if you run away or try to stealth them one by one. You have to go to the left and drop down to another Grace… followed by a yellow mist. Get ready, because one of the most difficult bosses in the game is coming .

- How to defeat the Sacroderm Duo
After the fight, activate Grace and exit from the right side of the room. See that huge bridge in the background? It is your goal, but to get there you have to go around, so turn left and you will see some ruins with several wolves. Drop down and enter any of its ‘windows’, jump down and go through several dilapidated structures floating in the air until you drop down into a corridor lined with dragon statues. Exit through the door on the right and go down another ruin.
New corridor, which you must go to the end and turn right to go up some spiral stairs. Upstairs, turn left: ahead you have more floating ruins and behind them, another huge staircase. Go up them, but note that the left railing is broken. Drop carefully to reach a new corridor. In the background you have a large terrace with a dead dragon and a dangerous knight . Whether you fight him or not, all you have to do is jump off the railing on the right until you can activate a Grace on the roof.
Keep dropping (watch out for the birds) until you once again locate some ruins floating in the air. Use them to jump to the next area, where you’ll see a dragon that shoots lightning from a distance. Cross carefully and as you approach the dragon area, run to the right where a couple of werewolves are waiting for you.
If you continue straight after defeating them, you can cross a column floating in the air and enter a flooded hall guarded by several wolves. The only exit is at the bottom and you will soon see an elevator. Go up it and activate the Grace. From here, you should not only prepare for a very difficult fight, but read the following warning before making the decision to fight him .
- IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you kill Maliketh, the story will move forward and Leyndell, the Capital will undergo irreversible changes (only here, everything else remains the same). It will become a new area necessary to progress and that leads to other very interesting optional places, among which is the path to one of the endings (don’t worry, the endings are only activated when you defeat the final boss of the game, they don’t rush you won’t miss anything). With this, what we want to tell you is that if you have something to do or look for in Leyndell, do it now . If this is not the case, do not be afraid and face Maliketh.
We repeat : read the warning again just in case. If you’re determined to fight, head up the stairs from Grace and take the bridge to the right. You will see a dangerous horseman on the way, but don’t stop: he runs to the boss’s mist, because he doesn’t care about losing health vials before starting the battle.
