Road to the Volcano Mansion
Although the path is not lost and you could have found the area a long time ago, we decided to delay this moment for a simple reason: you will have to complete three small objectives and the last one is to the north, a place that you could not access until you got the Medallion of Rold after killing Morgott . So now it’s time to find the Volcano Mansion. Look at the following map, in which we indicate in numerical order the route you must take from the outskirts of Leyndell .
You will arrive at a clearly identifiable area on the map, basically because it looks like a volcano and draws attention from afar. You can get closer by walking on the cliffs . Nearby there is a dangerous enemy in the shape of a bull with a beetle head, you can kill him if you wish, although it is not necessary. In any case, you will see that a huge mansion is erected on the mountain: go inside and activate the Grace .
Once inside, in front you will see a mysterious woman sitting and protected by a huge knight. She will offer you a deal: if you kill three enemies, she will let you have a date with Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy . Accept and you will receive a key that opens some of the rooms in the hallway next to her. In one of them you will pick up a red card on a table.
This card automatically marks an objective on the map . It is not necessary for us to tell you, because the game already takes care of placing an icon on the map that you have not yet seen, easily distinguishable by its size and red color . This is a red summon sign, just like a PvP multiplayer match. When you interact with him, you spawn as a specter in front of an enemy NPC that you must kill. They are not bosses, but normal enemies. Alternative method: exploring the interior of the volcano
You can get to Rykard in a more laborious way, although you may be interested in doing it to discover a new area with new objects and enemies. Then enter the first door on the right of the hallway, and in that room, break the wall in the right corner . You must do it by rolling, since here you cannot attack. Go down a couple of stairs and exit through the door next to them. It’s a hallway with an enemy hanging from the ceiling; to the right is a new Grace that you can activate, and at the bottom, a huge door through which you must go outside and drop down, where the lava pool is. Fear not, because in Elden Ring walking through fire is not too dangerous. Once inside, go through the door on the right and be careful with this long corridor, because there are several zombies and a couple of salamanders, one of them very dangerous due to its fire attacks. Your objective is at the end of the corridor, since it is an access to the interior of the mansion, but do not relax, because more enemies await you. Do you see the stairs with a wizard on top? Well, it’s your turn to go right there. He tries to lure the zombies and salamanders to kill them all without the wizard seeing you, since he is especially dangerous.
