Daughters of Charity Chapel . Catholic worship building located in the city of San Fernando . It was designed by the architect Teodoro Buchard in 1884 . It belongs to the Diocese of Rancagua, under the patronage of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

History
The history of the Chapel dates back to 1872 , when eight sisters from the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity arrived in the city of San Fernando to organize the hospital and care for the sick.
In 1884 , the construction of the hospital chapel began in its central patio, after Mercedes Gómez de Valenzuela donated funds for its construction and contributions were received from the government. The construction of the chapel was completed in 1899 and in 1900 a Gothic altar carved in oak wood was added. This work is attributed to Teodoro Burchard and the builder José Rudocindo Ortiz.
In 1952 , the San Vicente de Paul Hospital was demolished to be replaced by a new one, according to the health needs of the growing population of the area. The chapel was protected as the only vestige and is kept in the care of the Sisters of Charity.
After the 1985 earthquake , the chapel was closed due to structural damage, so it was restored, the works ended in 2005 .
Architecture
The church was designed in the Gothic Revival style , with a floor plan in the shape of a Latin cross. It is built of brick , which is visible on the outside and inside it was stuccoed with plaster . Its ceiling is made of wood simulating ribbed vaults.
National Monument
The Church was declared a national monument of Chile in the category of historical monument through Supreme Decree No. 936, of November 16, 1984 for its historical and architectural values.
