Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Download: The next season of CoD Mobile is expected to come out on July 11 , this being the last week of Season 7.
The season 7 Call of Duty Mobile is definitely one of the most popular , if not the most popular, season Call of Duty ever launched, with multiple additions of new popular maps as the Gulag and Tunisia. Cool new weapon skins and exciting weapons like Chopper also played a big role.
In this article, we would like to list some of the more exciting features that are going to be included in the eighth season of Call of Duty Mobile.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Release Date
With yesterday’s announcement that this is going to be the last week of the season, it’s pretty obvious that a massive reveal will take place at the end of the week. Additionally, all other Call of Duty Mobile events will also end on July 11.
The final nail in the coffin is Garena’s confirmation of a major event taking place on July 11, 2020. Therefore, the next season of Call of Duty Mobile will go live on July 11, with its corresponding release of Battle Pass the next day, July 12.
COD Mobile Season 8 Theme
Currently not much has been revealed on the exact theme of season eight, however we do have confirmation that its overall vibe is military-based . The name of the season could be Apocalypse Day .
According to various rumors and leaks, next season’s theme will be Air Force . The addition of the High Rise map is a clear indication, as the map is built on top of a skyscraper with various Air Force military vehicles.

A new map called High Rise
High Rise is a multiplayer map that was previously part of CoD: Modern Warfare 2 and CoD Online. The map is moderate in size , with a skyscraper under construction, along with two office buildings, each on one side of the map. In the center of the battle zone is a raised helipad.
Most of the fighting in the elevated area is short to medium range , around the areas of office buildings and construction equipment. The SMG and shotguns are exceptional in these areas, but the assault rifle is more versatile for occasional bouts of medium and long range in open field. There are also attack points on the map, with various vantage points looking over almost every part of the map. High Rise is among the fan-favorite maps on MW2 .
The unique feature of this map is its multi-level design . Both offices are connected to a tunnel below, which has many connection points leading to the top. Along with the cranes, there is also an elevator shaft and a staircase, which covers a scalable ledge that can serve as a good hiding place . The roof of the south block is the sniper’s point of view where players can see through the map, however they have to be careful as many players aim for the exact location. The upper part of the crane on the west side can also serve the same purpose.
From that crane, players can reach the ledge at the top of the North Tower office. This would require a lot of going up and down, of course with the control of the phone it could be quite dangerous as a slip would cause you to fall to the ground. A new operator ability called Takeo’s Katana
It was previously believed to be part of Season 7, however it was delayed to Season 8. This Operator Ability would change his PoV from FPP to TPP to make it easier for him to do hand-to-hand combat. Like the Annihilator Operator skill, Takeo’s Katana will also have aim assist , you won’t have to worry about missed attacks.
Also, when the Katana Operator Skill is active, your Crouch button will roll and your movement speed will be slightly increased. This is probably a clutch to make melee combat more useful in a game full of weapons. Remember that you must abuse the roll function to avoid enemy attacks.
A new advantage in every tree
These are also content delayed from Season 7, these 3 new perks would provide players with even more tactical options for combat.
Excess (Red) : Allows players to carry 2 primary weapons. This is pretty steep as the combination of a sniper rifle and an AR would be super lethal.
Quick Fix (Green) : This perk would give players health regen when capturing targets or killing enemies.
Shrapnel (Blue) : This perk would allow players to carry an extra piece of lethal gear. Additionally, it also deals explosive damage to delay the healing of enemies.
