Apex Legends: Explanation of all War Games acquisitions

There are still a few weeks left in Apex Legends Season 8, and Respawn is stepping things up at this War Games event. The event is already live. Add five new acquisitions by modifying the playlist over a two-week period. Here are all the acquisitions of the upcoming war games in Apex Legends .

All Apex Legends Wargame Decks

Each acquisition will change the way games are played in one way or another, with each one only being available for a set period of time before the next one begins. Modes begin and end in the morning at Pacific time.

Here’s the timeline for all five, according to an Apex blog post:

  • Second chance:Tuesday, 4/13 – Thursday, 4/15
  • Ultra Zones:Thursday 04/15 – Monday 04/19
  • Automatic banners:Monday 04/19 – Wednesday 04/21
  • Killing time:Wednesday 04/21 – Friday 04/23
  • Armor Regeneration:Friday 04/23 – Tuesday 04/27

Second opportunity

As the name suggests, Second Chance will allow players to respawn for free once per game. You will still have to jump to your previous location on the map, but you will retain all of your gear that you had before you died.

However, the Assassin, Wake, and Wrath badges are unblockable while this mode is active, as they all have to do with respawning. Obtaining them would be too easy by taking control of the second chance.

Ultra Zones

War Games’ second acquisition of Apex Legends is Ultra Zones. Usually there is only one hotspot per drop on each map, but this mode creates even more.

On top of that, the hot spots are within the bright flash spots. Flash Points were introduced in Season 6 as an LTM, and these bubbles restore the health and shields of all players inside.

Automatic banners

Auto Banners is a lot like Second Chance, but with more steps. Whenever a team member falls in battle, their banner is automatically picked up.

This means that you won’t have to risk your life trying to get to a teammate’s death box, unless of course you want to collect their gear.

Killing time

Killing Time is a bit more chaotic than most of War Games’ other acquisitions, as it speeds up the match every time a player dies.

This means that the ringtone and ringtone will be sped up. If you see the flow of death moving a little faster than normal, you should keep an eye out for the movement of the ring.

Regenerate Armor

The fifth and final War Games acquisition in Apex Legends is Armor Regen. As you’ve probably guessed, the armor will automatically regenerate in this mode. It returns at a rate of 12 points per second.

However, this is not always constant. After taking damage, your armor will only start to regenerate after a delay of eight seconds. This is also very important to note that there are no shield cells to loot while this mode is active.
