How to Link PS4 Account in Genshin Impact
There is currently no cross-save feature on PS4. While it is possible to switch between the mobile and PC versions with minimal effort, players are still forced to settle for PS4 if they initially set up their account there. With any luck, this will change in the future, perhaps when Genshin Impact hits the Switch.
How to link a PC or mobile account
To link accounts, you first need to log into the game from your PC or mobile device.
- First of all, once in the menu, go to “Settings” (looks like a gear).
- Click on “Account” and select “Account Management”. A page with your data will open.
- Find the email option here. After clicking on the link “link”, you will be sent an email allowing you to confirm your e-mail.
- Enter the code indicated in the letter.
Players who are having trouble with this step can also connect using their phone number or their social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Google, Apple, and even Game Center. The process runs on the same tab with your details in the options menu and uses the same steps as for linking to an email address.
This will allow players to travel with the same save file regardless of whether they are playing on PC or mobile, giving them the best of both worlds in terms of portability and performance.
