Biographical synthesis
He was born in the Holguin municipality of Calixto García , on September 22 , 1976 . At 17 she suffers an unfortunate accident that forces her to use a wheelchair for life.
Sports career
During her rehabilitation process in a hospital in the capital, she meets a group of disabled young people who practiced basketball on wheelchairs, who convince her to start practicing this sport . Later he begins to practice table tennis , a discipline in which he has obtained relevant results at the national and international level.
Sports results
In the V Parapan American Games 2015 , held in Toronto , Canada , he obtained a bronze medal in the TT3 category [1] , [2] .
At the VI Parapan American Games in Lima 2019 , she reached a bronze medal in the TT2-3 category in an unprecedented triumph against the Brazilian Thais Fraga Severo , who had beaten her three times before [3] .
