How to kill Leviathans

It is technically possible to kill Leviathans, but it is extremely discouraged . It’s best to just avoid them .

ADVERTISING

• To kill Leviathans you need the Stasis Rifle, to be able to paralyze them, and then attack with the knife .
• Since your vehicles do not have proper weapons(except for the PRAWN drill), you will not be able to use them to defeat these enemies.

Leviathan Reef Carrier

• The Leviathan Reef Carrier will not attack you, it willsimply run away from you.

Reaper Leviathan

• The Leviathan Reaper is aggressive, it will attack you as soon as you are within reach.

Young Leviathan Ghost

• They are the smaller version of the Adult Leviathan Ghost.
• Like the adult version, they are openly aggressive.
• If you go in the Cyclops, you can stop the engineto avoid being detected . If they have already detected you, the thing is somewhat more complicated and you will have to leave their area of ​​action.
• Ghosts are attracted to light, so turn them off.
• The best thing, in the few areas in which it appears, is to go around the place by a wall to avoid entering its aggro area .
• The Young Leviathan Ghost appears in the Lost River(before reaching the Disease Research Center, and there may be another one over the Perdido River crater that leads to the lava zone .

Sea Dragon Leviathan

• The Sea Dragon Leviathan is the most aggressive and dangerous monster in the entire game.
• As soon as it detects you, it will launch fireballs(even underwater, yes) and will be able to melee you .
• To avoid this, put the Cyclops in Silent mode, turn off the lights and walk away.
• If it hits you without a vehicle, it will kill you instantly.

• There are only 3 in the whole game. Two appear in the lava zones 1,700 meters deep .

Marine Emperor Leviathan
