Subnautica: Below Zero is a tense, sometimes very challenging game, especially if you’re nervous in those deep waters. To lighten the load, we have provided a complete list of cheat codes that you can use to make the whole process easier.
These codes can disable bad weather, make you invincible, speed up construction, or teleport you directly to your home base. There are many useful codes, so check out the full list below – and learn how to enable the console. This step is a little different from most games.
Console commands are cheat codes that you can use in the game at any time. Naturally, this is only available for PC users – you’ll need a keyboard to enter commands. To use the developer console, follow these simple steps.
- Press [ F3 ] to check the box on the HUD that says “Disable Console”.
- Press [ F8 ] to open the mouse cursor and uncheck it.
- When the box is unchecked, press [ Enter ] or [ ~ ] to open the console.
- Type any of the following commands and press [ Enter ].
Every time you restart the game, you need to uncheck “Turn off console” again.

- nodamage
God Mode/Invincibility.
- nocosts
Production is free of charge.
- Madloot
Instantly gives you a stack of useful items.
- oxygen
An endless supply of oxygen.
- unlockall
Opens all blueprints.
- fastbuild
The construction of the base is completed much faster.
- weather
Removes all current weather events and sets the temperature to 22 degrees Celsius.
- speed [number]
Replace “[number]” with a number. Changes the speed of everything in the game. 1 – standard speed. 2 is double speed. 0.5 is half the speed.
- daytimespeed [number]
Replace “[number]” with a number. Changes the speed of the day/night cycle. 1 – standard speed. 2 is double speed. 0.5 is half the speed.
- day
Instantaneously sets the time to noon.
- night
Instantaneously sets the time to midnight.
- Warpme
Teleports you back to your base/vehicle you were previously using.
- biome [name]
Replace “[name]” with the name of the biome. Instantly teleports you to the biome. Names: kelp, kelpcave, lilypads, crystalcave, deeppads, twistybridges, shallowtristybridges, introicecave, introarea.
- item [name] [number]
Replace “[name]” with the name of the element and “[number]” with the amount you want. There are no spaces in the product name. Places items directly into your inventory.
- spawn [name] [number]
Replace “[name]” with the name of the element and “[number]” with the amount you want. There are no spaces in the product name. Creates an item directly in front of you.
- freecam
Allows you to move freely with the camera.
