The word ‘Smriti’ is used in two meanings. In a sense, this grammar other than Vedwadarmay texts, such as Panini, Srut, Grihysutr and Dharmsutron , Mahabharata relates to, Manu, Yajnavalkya and other texts. But in the narrow sense, the meaning of memory and theology is the same, as Manu says. [1] The word ‘Smriti’ has also come in the Taittiriya Aranyak [2] Gautama [3] and Vasistha [4] have considered Smriti as a product of religion.
The scriptures mentioned
Initially, there were very few books of memory. Gautama [5] has not named any other Smritikar except Manu; Although he mentions the scriptures. Boudhayan has given the names of seven theologians except himself – Aupajhanani, Katya, Kashyap, Gautama , Prajapati, Maudgalya and Harit . Vasistha has given only five names – Gautama, Prajapati, Manu, Yama and Harit. Aapastamb has written ten names, of which one, Kunik, Pushkarasadi are only person-names. Manu has written six names except himself – Atri , son of Utthya , Bhrigu , Vasistha, Vaikhanas (or Vikhanas) and Shaunak. Yajnavalkya has given the names of 20 Dharmavakyas at one place in the first place, which includes himself as a conch and two separate persons written. Yajnavalkya has left the name of Boudhayan. Parashar has listed 19 names except himself. But there is some difference in the list of Yajnavalkya and Parashar. Parashar said Jupiter , medium and diameter is left but Kashyap , gArgya and Prcheta have to insert the name.
Religious code
The names of 18 Dharma-Samhitas have been mentioned in the Tantravartik of Kubharil. Vishwaroop has added ten names to the list of Yajnavalkya by quoting the verses of Vriddhi-Yajnavalkya. Names of 24 philosophers are mentioned in the book titled Chatuvinshatimat. This list were two names, as Katyayana and written off the list Yagyavalkya, but six names more, as gArgya, Narada , Baudhayana, Watts , Vishwamitra , shellfish (Shankyayn). Angira, who has been cited by Smriti Chandrika, Hemadri, Saraswati Vilas and other texts, has also named the names of the memorabilia. Another Smriti is the name Shatryanshanmat, which is mentioned by Mitakshara, Apark and other texts. Paithinasi has named 36 memories. Bhavishya Purana according to AparkNames of 36 memories have come up in The names of 57 theology have come in Vriddhi-Gautam Smriti. Experimentalism quoted in Veeramitrodaya has named 18 main memories, 18 memorabilia and 21 other memories. [6]

Prose memory
If we look at the later lists, such as the verdict Sindhu, Nilakand and Veeramitrodaya, the number of memories will be about 100. Reliable memories are works of many ages. Some are entirely in prose, some are mixed in prose-verse and most are in verse. Some are very ancient and predated many hundred years before Christ, such as Gautama, Apastamb, Dharmasutra and Manusriti of Boudhayan. Some were married in the first century BCE, such as Yajnavalkya, Parashar and Narada.
Time decision
Apart from the above memories, others are between 400 AD to 1000 AD. Everyone’s decision is not simple. Some of the verses of the ancient sutras are just amendments, such as conch shells. Sometimes two or three memories run with the same name, such as Shatatap, Harit, Atri. In some, there is complete communalism, such as Haritasmriti, which is Vaishnavism. The principal of some memories are the chief memory seekers; But with titles of old, big and small, such as old-yajnavalkya, old-gargya, old-manu, old-Vasistha, big-parashar, etc.
