The best way to make Risk of Rain 2 more fun is to unlock artifacts. These tools can completely change the way you play, making things easier or harder. There are 16 different artifacts to be found and each one is locked behind an artifact code and mandatory test. Here is a list of all the artifact codes in Risk of Rain 2.

Artifacts in Risk of Rain 2 are used to modify the game, often in drastic ways. How to unlock them is a kind of Pulcinella secret: you have to enter an Artifact code into the Compound Generator found in the Sky Meadow level. The codes are represented by three lines with three symbols each and each symbol is a square, triangle, circle or diamond. A code corresponds to an Artifact and you will need to complete a trial with the Artifact active to unlock it for later use.
