Project Genom system requirements

For starters, what is this game, Project Genom ?

Imagine an MMO shooter with a good leveling and development system, the developers of which were inspired by projects such as Mass Effect, Crisis, Halo and a dozen other lesser-known franchises. Add to this a twisted (one might even say, twisted) plot with travels in space and, possibly, in time. The result is exactly Project Genom. It only remains to add that the game is from domestic developers.

The project is still in alpha state (it has not even matured to CBT yet), but many users are already interested in it. And, in addition to questions about what it will turn out to be, there were questions about system requirements. Well, they can upset the owners of weak computers – the game is quite demanding. Here, see for yourself:

Minimum system requirements:

Operating System: Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 (64-bit)
Processor (aka CPU): Dual-core Intel or AMD 2.5 GHz
RAM: 4 GB DDR3 RAM
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX or ATI Radeon HD 4850 or any similar
Screen resolution: 1366 x 768
Internet speed: at least 3 mb / s

The only thing that cannot be said for sure now is how much the client will weigh. Constant patches, changes to content (something will be removed or made more “compact”, something will be added) also change the requirements for free disk space. But you will probably need a lot of it – the game is demanding on resources, which means it weighs a lot.

And here’s a look at the optimal configuration:

Recommended system requirements:

Operating System: Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 (64-bit)
Processor (aka CPU): Quad-core Intel or AMD 2.5 GHz
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 RAM
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or ATI Radeon R9 280x or any similar
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080
Internet speed: 100 Mb / s

You understand that the owners of weak computers have nothing to catch here, at least for now. Perhaps the game is still being optimized, but you shouldn’t count on it. Better to start collecting money for a new computer.

Well, laptop owners are better off not even trying to run Project Genom. In the best case, it will start, but with incredible brakes and a lot of lags. Well, in the worst possible scenario, it will freeze itself and “hang” your car.
