Outriders has been available for all platforms since April 1. After almost a week of playtime, we want to hear from you: How about the shooter loot?
This is Outriders: The Shooting Loot from development studio People Can Fly launched on April 1. Most likely, the developer himself compares it to Diablo and mixes many styles of play. You choose from 4 classes and then you have to fight hordes of opponents and regularly defeat strong bosses.
It is played in individual mode or in cooperative mode with friends. You can determine your difficulty and chance of getting good loot through the world ranks and improve your character over and over again with new items and weapons.
Outriders rose to the top of the chart on Steam in the early days. It is currently number 1 among the best sellers on Steam and therefore sells Valheim, which has long held the number one position there. 125,000 players bet on the best Outriders. Only 8 games had more concurrent players in the last 30 days (via Steamcharts).
Outriders is well received, but with you too?
So were the first days: Thousands of players broke into the servers on the first day. That was too much for the developers, because especially in the beginning there were always server glitches and many players couldn’t always bet.
Otherwise, there are some voices that complain about errors. So some bugs have been introduced that spoil the fun of the game.
In general, however, there are also many positive things being said. The story should be exciting and varied. In addition, the difficulty of the game is a point that is much discussed. It is challenging, but not unfair.
How are Outriders rated? Steam is worth checking out. There the critics are in “balanced”. Currently (as of April 6 at 1:00 pm) 68% have rated Outriders as positive. Negative voices often come from server issues Outriders have. There are many voices that do not criticize the content but give it a negative rating due to numerous blocks.
