Gboard activation
The first thing you should do to enjoy Gboard services is, of course, look for it in the application store that corresponds to the operating system of your Smartphone .
Once installed, you can start living the experience offered by this extraordinary application and be able to explore all its options.
- When Gboard is installed on your phone, you will only have to locate the Google icon in the upper left corner of your keyboard .
- With this action, another series of tools made available by the application will appear, such as “stickers”, “gifs”, among others. Lastly, three dots should appear. Click on them.
- A new menu will be displayed on your screen, where you will be able to appreciate, among other options, the clipboard function.
- Being the first time you use the Gboard application, it will ask you to activate the clipboard function to start storing the information you copy on your phone.

There is not much else to do after the previous point, other than start copying information from some page or chat to see how it will be stored in the application through the clipboard option. To do this, you will have to:
- Click on the “Google” icon again.
- Enter the “clipboard” option following the same modality as the previous procedure.
- Once you click on the clipboard option, all the texts that you have copied will appear. The presentation of its storage will be through small boxes that will show a small extract of its content.
- The Gboard clipboard also stores images . Therefore, when you take a screenshot, you can also view them on your keyboard clipboard.
Pin to Options Bar
The procedure can seem like something really tedious. However, given the customizable nature of this application, shortcuts or alternatives can be established to access this option in an easier way.
- When entering again the Google icon and the option of the three dots to enter the content menu of the clipboard tool, you can click on it and drag it to the options bar.
- That way, the clipboard will be anchored to the options bar along with the search tools, gifs and stickers.
