Upgrading your boat at Moonglow Bay is something you’ll do at the Boat Shop, which you can find along the boardwalk in the middle of the beach. It is literally a pier on the water, so you can’t miss it. As you can see from the image above, there are a number of different upgrades that you can install on your boat, ranging from increasing your speed to strengthening the hull so that it cannot take any more bumps and bumps before needing repair.
Later in the game, you might consider installing a suitable cabin on the boat so that you can spend the night outside and fish at different times of the day without having to come home when you’re sleepy.
It’s also worth noting that in addition to the Boat Shop, the game’s main story sometimes requires you to visit Abi at Abi’s Scraps to get a special upgrade required for certain missions.
