The Immortals Fenyx Rising map seems pretty straightforward until you get to the Gates of Tartaros section. This area does not have a revealing statue, which makes it difficult to know which structure to scale and synchronize. How to unlock the Gates of Tartaros section in Immortals Fenyx Rising
To unlock the Gates of Tartaros area of the map in Immortals Fenyx Rising, players must climb the giant volcano in the center of it. But, being a volcano, it is circular in shape, making it difficult to find out what to climb. Make sure you climb the south side of the volcano and the rock-cut wall. The exact point on the map is in the image above.
Once the player is tall enough and close enough, a message will appear and a small icon will appear on the map. It will be a small purple volcano.
Go there and press the interact button to get a panoramic view of the landscape similar to Assassin’s Creed.
This will unlock the Gates of Tartaros part of the map. This section can be confusing as the other parts of the game have obvious timing points that the game indicates to the player. They are all mandatory to go through each of the sections of the game. The Gates of Tartaros sync point is optional and very easy to miss as only a fragment of that portion is part of the main game. Once synchronized, players will be able to see the chests and side missions on the map screen in the Tartaros Gates, which makes it much easier to go for upgrades and ragweed. It can also be quickly traveled to appreciate large lira.
