How to sign in to iCloud?

Always have all your devices in sync thanks to iCloud. Do you know how to log into iCloud? We get you out of your doubts! It is even easier than organizing your iPhone or your Mac desktop in folders.

What is iCloud?

Surely, if you are a student or work in a team with more people, you have used cloud storage . It is super useful to save and share files on your iPhone , iPad or Mac , while always having everything at hand no matter where you are.

Apple also has this service in the cloud, it is called iCloud , and it has different sections so that you have all your storage in the cloud always organized.

From remembering your funniest days from your Photo Library with iCloud photos , to consulting that document that you need unexpectedly thanks to iCloud Drive .

Do i need to sign in to iCloud?

If you have used other cloud storages such as Dropbox or Google Drive, you will know that you have to log in with your email to be able to use their services.

The log into iCloud works a little differently. It is not necessary to download iCloud on your iPhone as you would with the Google Drive App, and it is not necessary to log in to iCloud every time you want to check your documents or photos if you are using your Apple devices.

Using iCloud is as easy as organizing your documents in folders on your Mac, with iCloud you can enjoy the benefits of the cloud without having to log in to iCloud.

And, you only need to be logged in with your Apple ID, without having to log in to iCloud, or download iCloud as such. Simply having an internet connection and having the same Apple ID on all your Apple devices will have all your important files at your disposal.

How do I sign in with my Apple ID?

The usual thing is that you already have your Apple ID integrated , especially on your iPhone or iPad. And, when you do the first installation of your iPhone or iPad, you are already registering your Apple ID to use the device.

Check which Apple ID you have on your iPhone or iPad from Settings>  your name , since this Apple ID has to be the same on all your Apple devices. If you are already signed in with the same Apple ID, you can use iCloud without having to sign in to iCloud or download iCloud.

And on my Mac? It is also very likely that you have already added your Apple ID, since when you plug in your Mac for the first time it also asks you to register your Apple ID . If it is true that, in the case of the Mac, this step can be skipped, therefore, go to the apple of your Mac> Preferences> Apple ID and make sure you have it integrated . If you already have your Apple ID added, use the Apple cloud without signing into iCloud and without downloading iCloud.

Sign in to iCloud from your browser

What if I am using someone else’s Apple device ? You can also use iCloud! Check and download what you have stored in iCloud from your browser. To do so, you just have to go to iCloud.com , write your Apple ID since this way you will log in to iCloud, and voila! You will be able to see everything you have stored in your iCloud organized in the different Apps or services without having to download iCloud .

If you are at a relative’s house and you want to show them the photos of your last trip in an improvised way, or, if you are studying at the house of a university colleague and you want to download your notes, just by logging into iCloud in your browser you will have these files in your hand . This fast!

Take advantage of the Apple cloud! Enjoy having your favorite moments and important documents always at your disposal with iCloud, wherever you go you can access them easily and quickly.
